Ron Paul is the only military veteran frontrunner running for President - Democrat or Republican - besides John McCain. He didn't obtain draft deferments like many others did at the time. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard.

Dr. Paul's medical training was interrupted when he was drafted during the Cuban Missile Crisis into the United States Air Force. He served as a flight surgeon out of Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, from 1963 to 1965, attending to the ear, nose and throat problems of pilots. He remained in the military during the early years of the Vietnam War. Paul's active duty service took him to countries such as South Korea, Iran, Ethiopia and Turkey. He then served in the Air National Guard from 1965 to 1968 while completing his medical residency in Pittsburgh. He achieved rank of captain during his service in the Air Force.

Thank you for your service to help protect all of us. er, that is what you thought you were doing, and what we all thought you were doing. But you are one smart Joe to figure out what is REALLY GOING ON.
It brings tears to my eyes hearing you and after hearing you, I KNOW i'm on the right track too. You are risking a LOT, and don't think that those of us in the Ron Paul effort don't see just WHAT you are saying and doing. And how important it is.
A good friend of mine was just telling me that no way was he going to vote Republican. That I should check out Obama's website if I wanted to see what he stood for, so I did. His site is FULL of what Clinton did, is doing, and wants to do. What McCain did, is doing, and wants to do. What everyone is doing but Barak. You gotta dig deep to see anything that will tell you what he stands for.
I told my friend that Ron Paul starts his "arguments" from an economic standpoint. Bring the troops home, absolutely NO Federal ID cards or chips, get rid of the Federal Reserve, get rid of the IRS. Easily all well presented on RonPaul2008.com. You don't have to dig.
Thank you for your video, and thank you again for trying to help protect us abroad, but even more for what you are doing today here at home.
