A Jew Upset My Mother
As told by my mother, who is 68 and a RP supporter. She has been handing out flyers at early her voting location in Texas this week.
"The latest in smears: I have my Ron Paul bumper sticker on my car. A car pulled up beside me at a 4-way stop and motioned to roll down the window. He said "I'm a Jew." I smiled and nodded. (I support Israel's right to their land they fought for and won in 1967 against the surrounding Muslim nations who all came at them all at once to wipe them out.) He said "Ron Paul hates Jews." I said "No, he doesn't." He said "Yes he does." Then he turned right and was gone."
I know it is not true, and she obviously does too. Can you point me in the right direction to calm her down and give some reassuring words from RP?

I don't want my comment to come of wrong
My point is, this is Dr. Paul's message. We have to look at people as individuals, not groups. Once we start dividing people into groups instead of individuals, things become nasty, somebody always feels left out discriminated against. That's why taking away the whole group mentality is what would be necessary to really stop rascism.
A few months ago
I googled Jews for Ron Paul and there was a web site. Also, there was a video someone put on the Daily Paul not long ago from Youtube. A Jewish person in Isreal with several others were protesting the Zionist Jews. There seems to be two groups and two different opinions on this Isreal matter. This is a lot more complicated than we ordinary people realize. Tell your mother it's ok the Jewish people are fighting even among themselves. Dr. Paul is right by following the Constitution and we are right to follow Dr. Paul.

Tell Her...
...that the majority of things Ron Paul is saying were said first by his Jewish teachers (Ludwig von Mises and Murray Rothbard). Why would an anti-semite have pictures of Jewish men on the wall in his office and go around advocating the things they say.
Check out the faculty list
Check out the faculty list of the Ludwig von Mises Institute...
Wait... better yet: Check out who Ron Paul is friends with. Check out who wrote his favorite books.
If Ron Paul hates Jews, then Lew Rockwell, Walter Block, Peter Schiff... etc etc etc are all going to be very surprised.

Okay
Well, we're currently proposing to give another $30 million in aid to Israel. However, so far, the government has only given $7 million in aid to New Orleans to help rebuild after Katrina.
Why don't you point that out?
Seriously, what's going on?
Something I posted before:
Riddle me this...
Why would a white-supremacist or racist support Ron Paul? (Or why would Ron Paul be racist?)
The real answer is they would not. (he would not.)
Do racists want people of color or specific religion to be free; have equal rights under our Constitution? Or do they desire them to be suppressed and imprisoned by an overrun welfare system, drug laws or outcast by the fears of people opposed to their ways of life and practice of religion?
The obvious is before you if you choose to see the real truth. The words "libertarian" and "racist" are complete opposites and using them in context of them having some-kind of similarity is utterly ridiculous.

RP wants to withdraw all
RP wants to withdraw all foreign aids, don't be surprised by some negative reactions. Can you please everyone? And he certainly entitled to his opinion. I was once told RP is a communist by a Demo sitting behind his booth.
That man was not a Jew.
Probably just some Evangelical NutJob posing as a Jew.
True
Actually, I know many Jews supporting Ron Paul.

Peter Schiff Named Economic Advisor.....
http://www.ronpaul2008.com/press-releases/171/peter-schiff-n...
January 25, 2008 4:44 pm EST
"ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – Newly appointed Ron Paul economic advisor, Peter Schiff, issued the following statement about Dr. Paul’s proposed comprehensive economic revitalization plan:
“We need a plan that stimulates savings and production not more of the reckless borrowing and consumption that got us into this mess in the first place. Ron Paul’s plan is the only one that amounts to a step in the right direction. If you want meaningful change - for the better that is - Ron Paul is the only candidate capable of delivering it. The others merely promise to continue the failed policies that are at the root of our current economic problems.”
Peter Schiff is president of Euro Pacific Capital Inc, and a frequent guest on CNBC, Fox News, and Bloomberg Television. He is often quoted in major financial publications and is the author of the book Crash Proof.
In the past Peter Schiff said the following of Dr. Paul: “Ron Paul is the real deal, a true statesmen and citizen politician in the traditions envisioned by the framers of our Republic.”
Mr. Schiff is available for interviews regarding Congressman Paul’s economic policies."
As I was minding my own business...
I was staffing a Ron Paul info table at the local mall. Some guy walked by and sneered "Ron Paul: racist and anti-semitic!" He did not stop to voice his objection so an intelligent and thoughtful discussion was a mute point. Where did he get these erroneous ideas? Could he document them or cite a source? I'd bail from the Ron Paul camp if it was true. However smears and hearsay are commonplace during elections and are to be expected.
Now regarding Israel: if you check out the pro-Israel web-sites you will see polls for U.S. Presidential candidates. Not one will list Ron Paul. Why? Because the U.S. created Israel. The U.S. taxpayers fund Israel. The U.S. taxpayers arm Israel. Israel would not and cannot exist without the U.S. This is NOT a hate speech or anti-semitism. It is simply fact which you can readily check up on yourself.
Ron Paul has demonstrated that it violates the U.S. Constitution, Law of Nations, and International law to do the above for Israel or any other country for that matter. He will glady trade or engage in diplomacy with all nations but he will not require that "We the People" build, arm, police, feed or fund any nation. "Alliances with no one" is something he repeats often. World Wars are the direct and indirect result of alliances. He supports the "general welfare" of the American people. Not the special welfare of other nations. It is terribly expensive to even try.
Ron Paul does not hate Jews. Don't let one rude and blatantly misinformed person cause you to hate Jews also. I know a lot of Muslims from the middle east that will tell you "it's all politics".
"Moot"
Moot: adjective
subject to debate, dispute, or uncertainty, and typically not admitting of a final decision : whether the temperature rise was mainly due to the greenhouse effect was a moot point.
• having no practical significance, typically because the subject is too uncertain to allow a decision : it is moot whether this phrase should be treated as metaphor or not.

Sorry.
Two much LDS in colleje. I'll try to remane moot on this matter; I wouldn't want to get buted off this threde.
haha
Ron Paul is for removing the subsidies and embargoes from all foreign countries. Some jewish people might feel threatened being off the teat of America, but hopefully you can point out our stupid government also supplies alot more weapons and supplies to Israels neighbors (you know the people bombing Israel). As soon as people realize America is fueling the conflict in the Middle East with our money, our weapons and our soldiers they'll stand together for coming home.
