I have read this before. There is some speculation
that this was one of the issues that drove McCain out of the 2000 campaign. If I remember correctly, the whole affair wound up putting quite a bit of wealth into his wife's pocketbook. I'd have to research it in order to find the exact circumstances of her involvement though. As a result of his involvement, the indians refer to him as Saddam McCain.

we've attempted to. They're at the point that they distrust anyone white, pretty much. Speaking to some of them as a Native American, they're pretty happy that, as they see it, the white man will go up in flames pretty soon anyways... so why prolong it?
