Argue the 'kooky slurs' now

I've growing concern about the slurs against Ron Pauls' ideas.
Trawling google ron paul news)
One such slur is his stance on drugs and scaling down the war on softer drug usage.(I don't use any myself FYI).
i just picked this up -take a look!

It says Bush has similar ideas about cutting back the war on drugs and that the money saved should go elsewhere. (So it's not that important an issue then)?
In addition if you close the border then problem solved all round.
Wouldn't it be a great idea to collate these conjusive articles to use against people that slur Ron Paul when he's right about a subject?

From the healthcare perspective
"Addiction" is a medical condition. Next, I suggest a "War On Diabetics" because when people get old and go on Medicare, a LOT of them have type 2 diabetes. That means the taxpayer has to help pay for their doctor's visits and their medicine, and eventually maybe some aputation surgery or dialysis. If they had exercised and eaten right, they would never have become diabetic. I am SICK of coddling old, fat, unhealthy people. Throw them in jail!!!
Absurd, isn't it? Equally absurd when applied to addicts.
Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.
To carry the comparison further...
Most people will say they don't really care if a druggie ruins his own life, but that the problem is the stealing and other crimes to support the drug habit. So with the diabetics, we get Wilford Brimley on tv encouraging diabetes patients to take something for nothing...government sanctioned theft to pay for somebody's destructive lifestyle choices.
Dr. Paul said it best- with government, we either ban it or subsidize it- why not just leave it alone!
5% of people make things happen
10% of people watch things happen
85% say "What happened?"
It's more of a genetic predisposition

The problem is, once you start labeling things like addiction as mental illness or what have you, you get things like the new "vaccine."
It blocks dopamanergic receptors, eliminating the pleasure experienced from most drugs.
This is a horrible idea for a number of reasons. Anyone ever read Clockwork Orange?
By the way, this is a real thing, if anyone's interested I'll dig up the articles.

I guess
I guess I'm too cynical. When Ron Paul talks about cutting back on the drug war it's because he believes in our civil liberties. When Bush or Obama talk about it I think it's so people won't avoid being drafted by deliberately getting themselves arrested on a minor drug charge.
It would be good
But all the good ideas get lost with all the Conspiracy stuff - like the post regarding the Rothschilds link to the english throne, The Haliburton death camps, etc. etc.
I swear we have a huge number of old LaRouche supporters here.
