Paul stiil not top tier

0 votes

According to this Fox News pre debate summary... http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,303814,00.html
Ron Paul is a second tier guy along with Hunter, and Tancredo. It Is fairly obvious from this article that Fox will be giving Huckabee a lot of time to speak. Although Ron has well more money than the Huckster, the spin doctors at Fox want there to be a perception of growing momentum for Huckabee; I would ask then, where is the money? It is painfully obvious that these are not debates at all. However, one would have to wonder how someone like Giuliani, Thompson, Mitt, McCain, and Huckabee could have the so called support they have; when they mirror President Bush's same strategy. Bush is hovering around 32-34 percent approval. You can not get elected with 34 percent of the vote, can you? There is something askew when one really thinks how there can be support for something that has no support at all. The media elite will not give Ron a fair shake; and that is why it is up to us to boost his monetary status and get the word out.

Change Tactic? Thank them because it P's us off!

Maybe a few of us should just change tactics and send them emails THANKING them for "co-operating," and letting them know that every single time they purposefully "disrespect" our man it just re-energizes everyone in the RP grassroots. (After all, if Ron Paul was considered "front-tier", the grassroots might start relaxing and leaving it up to the "official" campaign... and we can't have that now can we!)

Instead, the "dissing" just serves to re-energize and recommit us so that we find ways of donating MORE money (to local groups and independant efforts; AND to surpass the $12M, giving RP a bigger warchest than the phony "front-tier"), make even MORE banners, post MORE signs, burn MORE DVD's... which just means we recruit even MORE people to the grassroots; and convert even more people into getting their news from ALTERNATE media.

Let's "heap coals of burning fire upon their brow" (Proverbs 25:22).

The only polls that will matter are the primaries!

Fox article doesn't necessarily mean that

The Fox Article might not mean that Ron Paul is going to be treated as a second tier candidate - I think he will get more time. Significantly more than before, but still not as much as Romney, Rudy and McCain.

We'll see..

Why should they give him more time, when they totally disagree with him? It's just not in their interest.

I dont want to be in the "top tier!!!"

Who wants to be in "top tier land?" I sure as heck don't Who's in the top tier? Rudy, Hillary, Mitt, McCain, etc. Who wants to have those crooks as neighbors? The only people that voters might trust less than politicians would be members of the media. The last thing I would want is to be annointed by those bozos as "top tier."

Instead of begging the media to make Dr. Paul top tier, we should bask in his supposed status as a dark horse. When we talk to people, we should wear it as a badge of honor. Tell them, "No, Dr. Paul is not top tier. We don't like to be associated with the sort of people who are in the top tier, do you?"

May not be that bad

Making Huckabee top tier too will help to some extent. It spreads out the vote of the uninitiated. What used to be a Giuliani Thompson Romney may become GTR & Huckabee. If there isn't a clear frontrunner, people are more willing to vote what they really believe, and this helps a candidate like paul more than anyone. Just so long as Huckabee stays _a_ viable candidate, and doesn't move up beyond that, we're doing well.

You can expect tancredo and hunter to drop soon. Paul will be in it all the way. They can't focus on 5 (including McCain) and ignore him on the stage.

The real trick is to make a presence in the early states that looks as big as anyone else. It's an all or nothing game there. You gotta win the early primaries, especially NH, SC, NV. If he can win or place 2nd, then he stands a good chance come super tuesday. And if he does that, you can bet i'll go the full 2300. So will everyone else

Faux

What did you expect? Its faux "fair and neoconned news."

Frustrated by lack of recognized 'top tier' status

there is one thing the msm can't ignore.... and that's money. So donate more now! its quite uplifting! If we make our goals this quarter its quite possible we will bring in more money than gooliani! SO Give NOW!

Remember these poeple....

"FOX News' Carl Cameron, Major Garrett and Neil Simon contributed to this report."

These names should be remembered when Dr. Paul gets the nomination as clueless discredited idiots.

My take.... The media.. all

My take.... The media.. all of the media obviously has more than just a dislike for Dr. Paul's message... and it has NOTHING to do with ratings... heck I am sure their ratings would be higher if they HI-LIGHTED Dr. Paul's grass root support and ideas...

The problem is they can not air the ideas and debate them because both philisophically and practically they GAIN SUPPORT FROM THE AVERAGE PERSON...
The media will not be ANY PART of broadening Dr. Paul's message anymore... they either laugh or attack or tell us that his ideas are way outside the mainstream.... The mainstream of CORRUPT POLITICIANS.. yeah I would agree with that!

Cancel Your Cable Subscription and Send it it the Campaign

The industry is driven by the number of subscribers. The market capitalization of cable companies are based on their market share as measured by number of subscribers. Content and cable companies derived advertising revenues based on number of subscribers. The last thing they want is to loose you. Once they've lost you they have to spend a lot of money on advertising to win you back. The loss of a subscriber is bad news. The ability to stick your finger in MSM's eye is in your hands. If a 10,000 of us cancel our subscription and send $70 per month to the campaign for six months, it adds up to $4.2 million. I've done it. I also canceled my Wall Street Journal, Barrons, Business Week, Forbes and Fortune subscriptions. I'll be taking a thousand dollars worth of gardening equipment and tools to a flea market on the first Saturday of December. The proceeds will all go to Ron Paul.

What about Comedy Central?

LOL, oh yeah you can get all the clips you want now online. Cancel it is!

I would but I need cable to

I would but I need cable to get internet!

Amen

I agree and it is a shame that it is that way. That is why we need to get the campaign as much money as we can possibly get them and keep the grass roots working full steam.

He is top tier though

The MSM might not be accepting it but he is top tier. According to his message the other day he got invited to that fund raising dinner for top tier candidates only.
