Should a fund be created to help Ron's delegates go to the convention?

I mean, after reading the sticky about the delegate game and how we have a serious chance of finishing on top, I started wondering about those delegates that might have problems affording the travel costs. I'd like to know what you think. Of course this thing would be carefully done, so that no sharks get in. But what are your thoughts?

is, IMO, the most reasonable. The bigger and more complicated the task, the harder it is to pull off. The Meetups can work on this, and those supporters that live near the place could consider possibly providing space and/or transportation.

Just A Thought
Now, I have no idea whether this would play out well or not; just brainstorming here...
If need be, perhaps there are RP supporters in or near St. Paul (who are, I hope, safe, sane people) who would be willing to open their homes to accommodate delegates, providing room and board for that short period of time, and perhaps even transportation to/from the convention center -- that would help with car rental/traffic/parking issues. Might be a way for Minnesotans who have maxed out or who aren't delegates to help out. Your thoughts?
De-Centralize or Fail
Local Meet-ups should be responsible for helping their local delegates, as needed.
1. It will prevent fraudulent appeals for money for non-delegates and fraudulent delegates who aren't Ron Paul supporters.
2. It will help local delegates pool their resources for transportation and accomodations.
3. It will help bind them together with their local GOP, making conversions easier.
I suggest we do NOT do a national fundraise for delegates. This money is better donated to the campaign, and money for delegates should be raised locally. In fact, local fundraising events might be an excellent excuse to get some publicity.

Do not centralize activities.
Just set up an adopt a delegate program in each state and make sure they can pay off the nut.
If you make it big and complicated it is probably a legal issue. Get on line. Find a delegate and once you have proven what needs to be proven make sure they get to the damn convention.
Meetups in your state are on this.

Hi everyone,
We have established a fund to help our Ron Paul Delegates attend the Washoe County Convention. As you may know, the cost is $35 per person....but we can't let it stop us!!!
There are several people in our group who have requested assistance, including some with multiple family members who are delegates.
Please donate a little to our fund if at all possible. We have an excellent chance at the convention, but we must ALL attend!

The state coordinator for each of the states should be responsible for making sure the delegates have enough money and time to go. The state coordinator should contact the county coordinator and the county coordinator should contact all the county delegates and get a plan together. We got the structure in each state to make sure all of the delegates can go, its just coordinating that needs to be done.

I am one of the original posters of the delegates and how it all works.
A couple of us already have that plan in the works and i am sure we can raise all the money we need to get all of our delegates to the convention and cover all thier expenses. We will make this happen Just sit tight or become a delegate if you still can please.
We will have a better plan after march 4th once we talk to Dr. Paul

My thoughts...
I think it is a good idea if we could actually make it work. There are a lot of people out there who support RP and will probably make it all the way to the cenvention. There will be some that will need help with covering their expenses. Some will be coming from far and wide.
I have good news for the Revolution. I was selected to go to the state convention yesterday! So, I'm pretty thrilled. Hopefully, from there to the National convention. Wish me luck!
