latest zogby 'poll'

0 votes

I have just filled out the 'latest' Zogby 'poll' which to me, was clearly a 'study' of peoples attitudes about the govt. and was looking for information about 'radicals'. It made me think maybe this is part of the 'Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Act' 'Study'.

I have PDF files of each page if anyone wants to see them. Some sample questions i was supposed to agree/disagree were:

It's probably a good thing that
certain groups are at the top
and other groups are at the
bottom.

In getting what you want, it is
sometimes necessary to use
force against other groups.

Sometimes other groups must
be kept in their place.

It is important to protect
fully the rights of radicals
and deviants.

The facts on crimes,
sexual immorality, and
the recent public
disorders all show we
have to crack down
harder on deviant
groups and
troublemakers if we are
going to save our moral
standards and preserve
law and order.

Obedience and respect
for authority are the
most important virtues
children should learn.

It is best to treat
dissenters with leniency
and an open mind, since
new ideas are the
lifeblood of progressive
change.

Once our government
leaders and the
authorities condemn the
dangerous elements in
our society, it will be the
duty of every patriotic
citizen to help stomp out
the rot that is poisoning
our country from within.

It is always better to trust
the judgment of the
proper authorities in
government and religion
than to listen to the noisy
rabble-rousers in our
society who are trying to
create doubt in people's
minds.

Some of the worst
people in our country
nowadays are those who
do not respect our flag,
our leaders, and the
normal way things are
supposed to be done.

"Free speech" means
the people should even
be allowed to make
speeches and write
books urging the
overthrow of the
government.

In the final analysis, the
established authorities,
like parents and our
national leaders
generally turn out to be
right about things, and
all the protesters don't
know what they are
talking about.

In these troubled times,
laws have to be
enforced without mercy,
especially when dealing
with the agitators and
revolutionaries who are
stirring things up.

Clearly we can see they are making a big effort (whoever 'they' are) to narrow us down and see how widespread the Revolution actually is.

they are so afraid they also put together a fictional account of a person growing up in a place that was overtaken by the british empire and then subsequently rebelled and then oppressed as a member of a minority after the nation gained independence from Britain. the person is confronted with the option of joining friends in peaceful protests or bombing symbols of the government and social oppression. they asked me my views on these things of course.

very interesting stuff here.

honestly, i don't know how this post would be helpful to get Dr. Paul elected except to show that we are certainly on the radar and they are worried about us.

Yeah, I started taking this

Yeah, I started taking this same poll, and then 3/4 of the way through and then realized that the whole thing would be just a piece of propaganda crap, so I stopped before I finished it.

www.paulforronpaul.com

this would...

this zogby poll could also be used to find out how many sheep there are.

yup

i agree. they are definitely trying to figure out how big of a movement we are and how many will be compliant. so interesting to me that they are this worried about 'revolutionaries'! :)

i wouldnt dare answer that

i wouldnt dare answer that survey. Answering it would be like in a hypothetical war situation..telling the enemy where all your troops were. duh. I hope nobody answers it except for sheep.

they already know who we are

i am so not worried about it. i haven't done anything. and if they think i have, they are wrong. that is all i need to know. if Ron Paul isn't elected there won't be much we can do about it anyway except pray.

sorry

wrong place

Went to their website...

"Since 1984."

wow

i would not be proud of that!

I have a POLL for Mr. Zogby

wink wink

In the world's broad fields of battle. In the bivoac of life. Be not like dumb driven cattle...be a HERO in the strife.

Does my burka make my butt look fatwa?

Hmmm... after reading the...

questions, I don't think I would participate in such a poll. I wonder who would pay for something like this? I don't like the wording in the questions one bit. It does sound like whoever staged this poll is worried about something. Nah, I wouldn't take any part in it. I'm not particularly happy with Zogby anyway.

Besides, most polls, as you know are tweaked to slant in favor of some ominous direction or other. I thought Alex Jones paid for a straight forward poll early on and the results were used to benefit other candidates then, regardless. So, I tend to think the whole "poll" thing has lost any validity, that is to suggest that at some point they had just a tad of integrity to start with.

I do however appreciate you taking some time to participate in the poll. At least we are aware of the possible intent of the author(s). When will they realize that we simply want to go back to the constitution. Simply put, it is what we should stand for. We, as a nation, deserve to have a leader who believes in such things as well... a true statesman.

Ron Paul 2008!

yeah i didn't like it either

but i felt that it would be good to show that us 'revolutionaries' are 1. watching, and participating. 2. are not intent on violence.

i tried to make a point not to answer the way they were aiming but to answer the questions the way i wanted it to be answered. the one question i had the hardest time answering was this one:

In the final analysis, the
established authorities,
like parents and our
national leaders
generally turn out to be
right about things, and
all the protesters don't
know what they are
talking about.

This implies that i want to rebel against my parents if i want to rebel against the government. My dad is in law enforcement, and he recently had training on 'who is in charge in a major emergency' and he was fine with all that, but when i told him about the katrina gun confiscations he was like 'no way' and i said 'have they trained you to do that?' and he said 'no way, they wouldn't, and i wouldn't do it anyway'. he is big on gun rights but very biased against conspiracy theories. i won't be rebelling against my parents any time soon, but the government is not the final authority in my life. God is. our government is supposed to be 'of the people, by the people and FOR the people!'

so you govt thugs who are watching think about that for a second.

you won't have the support of local law enforcement agencies. or anyone else.
