He's vacuous

and so boring - I guess they want to rock and roll with him and perhaps also do drugs. He's empty. He would have to be led.

Oh. My.

Having tossed out the TV years ago, I have thus far been spared the spectacle that is...OhhhhhBAHMmah!!

Was there a nationwide memo I missed out on, exhorting us to succumb to infatuation? All those chem trails criss-crossing the sky; do they infect the populace with "Adore Obama" particles? Are the rBst hormones in our dairy products actually formulated to make people trip out like a bad PCP experience, resulting in the sudden and irreversible urge to fall uncontrollably head over heels for a handsome, smiling death trap?

This phenomenon is terrifying, not so much because Obama is popular, but that people are so invested in one person, for himself, alone -- it's not about the nation, it's about Obama. I'm surprised I'm not hearing adulating cries of, "Evita! Evita!"

Hey, I love RP and am deeply grateful to him and support him and just think he's the bee's knees. But the Ron Paul Revolution is not about Ron Paul. God Bless the good doctor, even he knows and publicly announces that it's not about him; it's about our precious country the Founding Fathers worked so hard to preserve for us. Obama seems to...I don't know...feed off the adoration of the people.

I am seriously scared for our nation's people. Or of them. Or both.

"But, indeed, no private person has a right to complain, by suit in court, on the ground of a breach of the Constitution. The Constitution it is true, is a compact, but he is not a party to it."

The Pied Piper

He's like the Pied Piper getting children and rats to follow him while the Republican Party is running around like a chicken without a head.
Electing a Republican President was going to be difficult from the beginning (thanks, Bush). Hopes were pinned on Fred Thompson when he entered the race, indicating what people thought of the other candidates even then. I can recall a time when Romney was leading, and Huckabee and now McCain.Whether people, sheeple, rats or children, it's hard to keep transferring loyalties. People are settling into the idea of Obama because (they think) their choices are limited to a democrat and with the Republicans scuttering around all higgledy-piggledy I can understand why.
The Party could still turn it around if they wanted to. I think if they had treated Paul fairly from the start the Republican party would be in better shape now.
Some might say that Obama is more the type of Republican the GOP wants in office than Paul is

Don't forget about the CFR!!!!!

"THEY" don't give a damn whether its republican or democrat (as long as it NOT Dr. Paul) the rest are all CFR lackeys......so, they don't care

I agree

we would be doing much better had the media given Dr. Paul a fair shake. I don't see the current party leaders being very likely to give up the "new" republican needs to folks like us.

The funny thing is...

from the NYT:Hushed worry about Obama's safety

Who would want to kill this guy? Is he trying to tear down the military industrial complex? Is he trying to thwart global bankers by re-instituting the gold standard and abolishing the Federal Reserve? If there is an attempt on Obama's life I'm sure they'll pin it on a Ron Paul supporter who is obsessed with Jodie Foster.

He is Black, thats why

There are still some old school prejudice in deep south. It is slowly fading but there remains a small faction.

Deep South

There are still some old school prejudice in deep south. It is slowly fading but there remains a small faction.

I don't know where You live but I live in the Deep South as You say and it's getting worse. Racism is a disease that will never be cured in the South because the blacks are just as racist or worse than the whites. You know You live in a fucked up culture when blacks can talk about whites all day and its socially acceptable but when whites talk about black You are labeled a racist. I treat everyone equally especially if You come across as being friendly but to say racism is dying is just plain ignorant.

I hear it all the time from WHITES that someone is going to shot that MAN and I tell them thats the last thing they want. The idiots have the nerve or the stupidity to ask why is that. I tell them if they thought the L.A. riots were bad just think if THAT MAN gets killed. I can see it now they relax his security and a crazed racist comes in and shoots THAT MAN and in the aftermath riots go on all over the country. When the riots come whites will hide in their houses because they will get killed on site if they step foot outside. The government will swoop in shoot and gas alot of people and go door to door taking peoples guns. You know that does sound like a likely scenario because it could happen. So I would pray for the CFR puppets life and hope he doesn't get killed.

Oh and btw I have no problem with a black president but I do not care for THAT MAN because He is CFR and He wants us to support the whole world.

my points, EXACTLY!!!!!!

i also live in the deep south...i would vote for a black man for president, i have no problem at all with that....blacks have been voting for whites forever...to me, and to most down here, its not about color, its about character....i agree with the above post though that racism is far from dead on both sides of the color but to the point.....this MUSLIM first, AMERICAN second man is NOT the black man i will support and not the black man for the job............just like i would have no problem whatsoever voting for a woman but billory is NOT that woman...they are both CFR sell outs who care nothing for AMERICA...obama won't wear a flag lapel pin, won't say the pledge of allegiance, won't take an oath on the Bible...for Christ's sake Oprah and all you sheeple...wake the hell up!

its 'cos I owe ya, my young friend...

to make Obama appear to be anti-establishment...when in fact the exact opposite is true. It will only enforce what the sheeple believe.

All personality...slogans...marketing...hey, he knows how to run an empty modern presidential campaign. Yes?

Being inspirational will always dominate the real issues when the masses are too lazy to think.

Obama is going to be a tough nut to crack.

Yeah

I do like how he photoshopped all those Obama pitcurues, added a lens flare and made them all dreamy, that's sweet.

But, that's what I don't get. People getting manipulated over and over again by the same words and promises.

"There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again." —President George W. Bush, Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002

yes...my favorite enhanced, dreamy photo...

is the one where he's blowing his nose into the holy kleenex.

I don't understand

Why do people fall for the same tricks over and over again? It's it forgetfulness, or naivety? Obama will say anything to get you in bed, it's obvious. And he's lubing everyone up real good.

But, has a politician ever actually done anything they promised in the original platform they ran on. Look at Bush in 2000. Humble foreign policy, no nation building, he promised to fight for civil liberties...

More importantly, this is something it seems nobody caught, go watch Bush's State of the Union Address from last month. He said we were seeing considerable success in Iraq and the U.S. could slowly start to withdraw some troops starting in July if things remained as they currently do. Bush said he would start by bringing 2000 troops home.
Wait, isn't that the same thin Obama and Hillary has been saying? They are promising nothing better than Bush is, and Bush will probably start the withdraw before they even take office. They are fooling you into voting for them when in reality their strategy for withdraw is the same as the one already in place.

I Only Watch His Hands

This is a funny video circulating that it is Obama in college in 1974, I don't think it is really him but some good comic relief anyway!

Vote RON PAUL 2008
________________________
Ha ha ha -- how can you say that with a straight face? All black men look alike, is that it! Of course it's not him. And as to being made by the United Negro Whatever It Was -- it was obviously a racist hit piece disguised in what some would consider humor. I consider it to be in bad taste -- And I'm white.

Vote RON PAUL 2008

HAHAHAHAH

Man, that's a pretty funny site!
Wow, haha!
Comparing the next president of the United States to the Coming of Christ.
I'm a fervent Ron Paul supporter, but WOW, that's rich.

Hmm. I wonder if there are actually some people out there that believe that propaganda is true?

"Always vote your principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost." -John Quincy Adams.

Obama is a communist.

A vote for Obama is a vote for socialism. Period. There is no way to rationalize it. You can't get from point A (totalitarianism) to point B (constitutional government) through socialism, fascism or communism.

If we're not voting our conscience, we are giving in to the media game of the lesser of two evils.

We are building a freedom movement. Obama is NOT a part of that movement. He must be opposed. If you want to make a moral choice (if Dr. Paul drops his campaign) vote for an independent, but for the love of God don't help elect a socialist who will raise our taxes and demolish the second amendment.

Nobody here

will hear what I'm saying.

I think that McCain is the worst possibility and WANT TO INSURE he doesn't get elected. If Dr. Paul isn't on the ballot and doesn't look to have an appreciable percentage and McCain is polling close to the Democratic candidate then I'm voting for the democrat, unless there is an independent that has a real chance of winning. This isn't some kind of RPG or something. The wrong candidate could get more of our troops killed and make more enemies for us to have to deal with...somehow. If the president we elect creates problems for us at home...well, we can deal with those on a state-by-state basis. If he gets us into a shooting war then we will have no choice but to let the Federal government try to solve a problem that it created in the first place. I simply don't have enough faith in McCain to trust him with the proverbial button. He's a hothead and definitely a hawk.
So yes, I'm willing to let the democrats have control for four years because i don't think that the republicans can be trusted with Dr. Paul in charge.
Finally, Dr. Paul is certainly my leader. However, he is NOT the Revolution. The Revolution will continue without him, if needs be. My question can also be stated: will the Revolution grow faster with McCain in office than it will with anymore else (but Dr. Paul)? My answer is no.

RON PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!

GO RON GO No matter what RON PAUL Will be on MY ballott

GO RON GO

Obama is a communist

If you vote for the lesser of 3 evils, you still have evil. And guess what, there is no lesser evil here!

It is IMPOSSIBLE to vote against someone. Who you vote FOR says something about your principles. A vote FOR Obama is a vote FOR OBAMA, not against McCain, not for the freedom movement. A vote for Obama is as unprincipled as voting for McCain. No one knows who is going to win in November at the moment, but if you let the media pull you along by your leash, telling us who can and can't win, we will always lose. If everyone I ever heard say "I like candidate X but he can't win" actually followed through and voted for candidate X, candidate X would actually have as good a chance of winning as anyone.

We are months away from the Republican convention. Anything can happen. Stop talking defeat and start working to elect Ron Paul delegates.

Ok, I begin

to see what the difference is between my attitude and many others. It seems that my attitude is "hey, lets consider all possibilities since the thing I'd like to happen has a very low chance by any reasonable interpretation of the numbers" while the others are practicing the "don't make me consider unhappy but unfortunately realistic possibilities because it'll make me cry and I'll start name-calling" attitude.

Does anyone even know what Communism is and how many people and countries use it? I just ask because it has an interesting history and has had a lot of very intelligent proponents. Now, before people start branding me a communist just keep your holes shut. My favorite form of government is a very loose democracy, or at least I guess that it is, never having experienced it here in our representative republic. My point is that belief in a certain type of government doesn't make someone evil. The people of China who are happy with their government aren't evil. Neither are the Vietnamese. Just like Hindus aren't evil for their personal beliefs anymore than Christians are for theirs. Governments are usually the reason that various forms of governance don't work. Again, not because they are inherently evil but because people get corrupted with power...plain and simple.
[edit]In summation, I highly doubt that Barack Obama is a communist. If you have hard evidence, serve it up. Otherwise, shut up.[/edit]

load up on the train, loser

they've got a nice little wooden bunk bed for you, too.

NEVER GIVE UP NEVER GIVE IN! you are shooting us in the back while we try to fight...can't you see that?

its 'cos I owe ya, my young friend...
Rockin' the FREE world in Tennessee since 1957!

Yeah, good answer

[/sarcasm]
But no one is willing to even take a reasonable position of discussion on what he or she will do in the event of McCain polling closely against Obama and Dr. Paul nowhere on the ballot. The cheerleaders are so funny with their rah, rah sis-boom-bah and lock-and-load bs. It has nothing to do with giving up or giving in. Its called working with the hand you've been dealt with and its something you learn with age. Its not about quitting. Its about know that sometimes you have to take the long way to get somewhere.
I don't want Barack Obama to be elected. However, I don't want McCain to be elected more than I don't want Obama because I feel that McCain will more a greater danger to the US than Obama. Why is that hard to understand? Is it just that you can't even prepare for the possibility of no Dr. Paul in the oval office? Certainly there is still a remote, tiny chance that something will happen to toss McCain under a bus...which means Romney would jump back in. We'd still have a battle, but it would be looking a little better.
Its odd because many of the same people giving me a hard time for this attitude are the ones saying "stock up on water and food and make sure your guns are oiled". The two positions don't really agree. On the one side I'm a defeatist if I try to figure out what I'm going to do if the election doesn't go the way I want it to go but on the other hand I'm a good little boy for squirreling away 6 months of food and water. A large part of being successful in any battle is preparation. If things don't go your way what are you going to do? I'm not looking to convince of anything particular. I'm just asking if you have even considered what options might be available.
As for shooting you in the back, its hardly necessary. With the attitude you've got you'll end up shooting yourself long before the real battle ever begins.

Hillary is one too

Most left wing Democrat (and many R) politicians are some variant of socialist. Most (not all) secular humanists and atheists are socialists. There is no compatibility between socialism, fascism, communism and the US Constitution. Voting for any candidate who is a socialist over non-socialist candidates is unprincipled pragmatism. The reason we have unprincipled politicians is because we have unprincipled voters! At the moment, the only principled votes are for Ron Paul or possibly the Constitution Party or Libertarian party candidates. No other individuals or parties are proposing to remotely move the country back towards Constitutional governance.

Regardless of who everyone else is voting for, your vote is your vote, and your vote says something about your character. If you think that communism is even remotely OK, then you have a serious misunderstanding about the nature of law and government in America, and about the Ron Paul campaign.

Some of my NeoCon (liberal) > are trying to convince me to Obama

McNuts was endorsed by the New York Times while it had the story on the Affair in December.
McCain is deliberately proped up by the media to make way for a sure win for Obama.
You wackos really thinkt that we are that stupid to even consider that piece of shit who has been running for the White House for 2yrs since his first term as Senator. This did not come about without the deliberate hand of the media.
Go to HELLLLLLLLLLLLLL.
