At the Oklahoma district conventions this weekend:
In Oklahoma County, where Oklahoma City resides, where Ron Paul took 4% of the popular vote, Ron Paul delegates flooded the
conventions in enough numbers to add a platform plank calling for the
repeal of the PATRIOT Act.
I thought this is pretty darn awesome and just proves that popular vote means nothing.

This particular plank was actually vocally challenged by an ignorant attendee. The platform was adopted as presented in the end (long story). I believe this person was also running for National Committeeman. Good luck on that victory...especially when your party has just been overtaken by liberty lovers. We're in this for the long haul. There is no finish line and any victory will have to be followed by another to keep this county, state and country in line.

Expected of Oklahoma
I always expect Oklahoma to rise above. It seems to be a state where our patriotism and morality peaks. Sure wish the popular had been above 4%, but so many reasons to explain that.
