Texas Early Voting has begun.
Here is what is happening and what we can do to ensure Victory:
In nearly every single state, we have gotten hammered by unexpectedly high voter turnouts. The problem is that we never knew why the voters were turning out, and we only had the course of one day to react. It wasn't enough.
In Texas, we are seeing record turnout already.
Texas is different in that we vote over multiple days, so we have a chance to FIGURE OUT what is going on and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
We are hearing why people are voting so much -- they are MAD AS HECK about what is going on! Simple as that! They don't know who they're going to vote for when they get there. They just want something to change.
So of course our people are talking to them about our candidate and what he stands for. And those people go inside and vote, and then come out and tell them that BECAUSE THEY WERE THERE, they voted for Ron Paul. As many as 90% of the people are responding this way.
Record numbers + Angry voters + Willing to vote for the people that show up
That's like, free votes for Ron Paul. If the Ron Paul people can't put more boots on the ground at these places than anyone else, do we deserve to win???
So here's what we need to do: We need to shift gears, because we can, and put a person on the ground at every voting place, every hour of the day.
It's up to every single one of us to make sure our Early Voting location is covered every day!
This is sign waving and lit handouts. It's as easy as sleeping!
And after you talk to them on the way in, talk to them on the way out. If they voted for Ron Paul, ask if they're willing to do just a little more, then hand them a flyer about being a delegate and coming to training. With this level of turnout we've already won, we just have to show up and pick up the prize.

Point Out that if they Want a Voice at Convention
They need to vote for someone who will not drop out.
Tell them the sad story of people who voted for Romney, Giuliani and others who did not stay the course. Ron Paul is the only one whose support is still growing, and we gave him the money to stay in. He has promised not to drop out as long as we're in it with him.
The people who fear the wasted vote should fear voting for a "loser" like Huckabee (who doesn't have the support) or McCain who admitted yesterday that he may lose to the Democrat.
Obama doesn't need their vote, he's winning. Ron Paul is the one who will give them a voice for change. Ron Paul will not quit.

I know several republicans that will not vote for Ron Paul (because of the war issue) but are jumping over to the Dems to vote for Obama to stop Hillard for sure.
That's Okay
It's a vote McCain did not get. If we're hoping for low voter turn-out, that means low Republican voter turn-out. Those who think McCain has it locked may not vote at all.
By the time Ron Paul is running against the Democrat, the number of Democrats who will vote Ron Paul because of the war, will make up for it.

i hope anyone reading this will post this on every forum out there ...I dont know of them all but I suppose many of you do..
BTW did you know that you can vote twice in Texas... both at the polls then at the caucus???

Your vote means nothing except that
it allows you entrance to the precinct convention that immediately follows the close of the polls. This is where you can become a delegate ...which is what really counts. Then you go on to the county or senatorial district conventions, from there to the State Convention, then to the National.

I read the TxGOP stuff. Looks like the voting is for a little more than just entry to Pct Conv.
Based on what I found at their site, our National Delegates are bound through 3 rounds of voting unless released by the candidate (or the candidate quits, dies, etc). Of course, that's all based on a convoluted formula as to who gets how many of these delegates....but those formulas are based on the popular vote.
Getting out the vote is as critical here as anywhere.
Can you post this in simple words for all to read??
