not only should we organize politically, but militarily too!!
join a militia before they are banned!!! join and support them, go campaigning for your local milita get the word out!!!
if the powers that are current see our stature they will think again.
the way i see it is we have 4 major responsibilities
1. get dr. paul elected and get his book out there "it will be like liquid magma"
2. get constittutionalists elected to the local and state positions ( we need a good website to link up with and organize ourselves around, utilizing the meetup groups etc.)
3. spread from FREEDOM TO FASCISM or ZEITGEIST ( if you are spreading the message through fliers or dvds then you ARE a patriot)
4. join up and support your local milita OR hunker down and be independent but be on vigile (the neocons are coming!!! the neocons are coming!!!)
these are the 4 ways we can take back our country!!!!

Haven't fared too well, and they have motars and RPGs. Why do you think much smaller, less well armed militias in the US will fare any better ?

Our time would be better spent
running for local government. Get involved in your community and getting to know people, learning how government works. My feelings on this is joining a militia is like putting a target on your head. Civil War would mean a total collapse of this countries infrastructure. You/We would gain nothing. We must do what Ron Paul has suggested from the very beginning. Educate our communities. We do not have the numbers to rise up and change the government, yet. Violence would shut that door and we would all be in HELL. Head neocons pray for some RP supporter to do something violent and stupid. Stop the crazy civil war talk and get your ass out the door and educate.

Ron Paul understands the necessity of the individual's right to bear arms as a check against a tyrannical government. If we bear arms, we had better be prepared to use them if necessary. Nobody here is talking about initiating violence, so don't be putting words in anyone's mouth. I really hope that our Constitutional Republic can be restored in a non-violent manner, but I'm not naive. And you're wrong about the numbers. We the People have the numbers on our side, and they know it. That's why they'll try to talk us into rolling over for them.

Look at the americans in the Revolutionary War, the north vietnamese in Vietnam, the muhajadeen/osama in Afghanistan during the 80's, the current insurgency in Iraq. Those are prime examples of what guerrilla warfare can achieve with only a small minority of the population armed. There are more guns in circulation in America than there are people. Betterhalf, it's probably best if you just kept your mouth hole closed for a bit and open up those ear holes instead.

Well, without the silly name calling I agree with this post. I always here that we can't stand up to the gov't because of their superior fire power. But, even if that is the case, we have significant weaponry. Also, we still possess the element of surprise, we're spread out, and we're Americans.

The straw that will most certainly
break the back of my patience will be if they attempt to institute a draft to run McCains hundred year war. I'll be damned if I'll allow a few of my politically connected hack neighbors decide to send any of my kids in as cannon fodder. Draft boards and their members would be the logical start.

Will You Be Our RKBA PowerVote Whip?
I'm looking to nominate someone here as an RKBA PowerVote Whip. Are you the one? You can see what I'm talking about at dailypaul.com/node/39790 With the potential for a liberal pres and congress, I think RKBA will be under serious attack in the future. The tension built into our constitution between 2nd amendment and fed power virtually guarantees that it's always the most powerful issue out there at the grass roots level. The NRA has raised (and used very inefficiently because of crippling campaign finance laws) billions on this issue.

West is the best
In the west, people don't necessarily see a need for organization when it comes to militia. Most people own firearms and possess a gut-level understanding what our responsibilities will be if and when the time comes. Why give the States, which have been infiltrated and co-opted by the Feds, a list of volunteers for a militia? The militia is every one of us. We will be ready.

you can also create your own state or local militia, just read the rules in the constitution, get a website, and start recruiting, it helps to have community programs i.e. bake sales etc. so that you dont look like a terroritst unit lol, just link it up
