** URGENT! Need Video Capture! NE OHIO Akron event!
Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner is holding a townhall meeting tonight at 7pm EST at Summit Library on High St. in Akron. Word has been circulated to many meetups in Ohio but yet unclear on number of RP people who will attend. The topic is Ohio voting and some mention of going to optical scanners which is no more acceptable than equipment being used now. We are hoping to distribute copies of Bev Harris "Hacking Democracy" and voice need to return to paper ballots in our state.
Local tv news has been notified and at least one, WKYC channel 3 Cleveland said they plan on having someone there. I hope someone in Ohio can capture tonights 11pm newscast???? There will be one of us with a video camera but would be better to have some backup if anyone out there can. Also, any other RP supporters near enough to come to the meeting on such short notice, please do!
