He dose not want to embrace either Castro, but we support the people of Cuba, and support that the Cuban immigrants here in American who can send money back home to family in Cuba, which in turn they can buy consumer goods not made in the USA. Hmmmm Thats good business sense.

I am I wrong to assume if these people had more choices, tourism income, that they would rise up and assume responsability for their government. I cannot immagine a population under opression for so long would not grasp at any opportuniy given to make a change.
If its OK to over run a dictator and promote democracy in Iraq, why wouldnt we do it closer to home in a place with better beaches?

He is a laughing stock over here (I'm in Scotland). Do you guys have the tear off calendars over there that count down to him leaving office (so they go right through to the inauguration in 2009)? Every day is one of his more amusing quotes - they're really funny calendars, but I imagine they'd be pretty painful for you guys.

Nothing new there -- just a lame President trying to make us believe that the price of oil is just the way it has to be, and that we're working hard at alternative means of energy // something said about corn being used up and making the process more difficult, and the cost of food increasing.
I kept thinking -- Ever hear of hydrogen fuel cells? Suppose that might make the cost of water increase if he did.
