The "stagflation" has caused the corporations to take another look at Ron Paul's ideas... He is now, ever so slowly, being treated with respect. Watch the sudden "miracle" if the big money sees that Paul's scenario is right on, and that he has a solution. The MSM will, as Fox has recently done, become a bit more, er, "polite". The game is far from over. IF the economy goes further south, and the big money turns to Paul, goodbye McCain! Watch for a "Mea Culpa" Hannity..
I guess they think he won't run as an independent, and Mccain already has the nomination, they can give him some attention.
I still hate FOX news, don't be fooled....
It never ceases to amaze me how his monetary policy and foreign policy understanding is right on; people are finding this out but they still dismiss him. The other candidates are clueless and they are their cheerleaders. Well, we deserve what we get if Americans vote that way.

You will not find many pre-1965 silver coins. This is Gresham's law at work. In fact, by sorting out the pre-1965 silver coins YOU are obeying Gresham's law! How about that! The market has a HIGHER law!
I believe the cut-off date for silver is anything prior to 1965... and yes, saving those coins is always a good idea. They are worth far more than their face value.
First, yes, that was an excellent interview, and the hostess did a fantastic job of asking good questions and showing Ron Paul in a positive light.
But be wary of Fox Business News. Those of us who remember Fox News in the early years, remember it was very much like Fox Business News is today. We were attracted to it because for the first time, conservatives and Republicans were being given a fair shake. The commentators were mostly conservative, and Bill O'Reilly was a solid voice of reason. Then things began to change -- subtlety at first. Little things here or there that distracted, distorted, or mislead. Through Fox News, they hijacked the Republican party and most of the Christian conservatives in this country and led them to support preemptive war, use of torture, and illegal surveillance of American citizens (among other things).
Remember that Fox Business News is also owned by Murrdock. Just as he used Fox News to destroy the Republican party, I believe he wants to use Fox Business News to destroy the libertarian movement in our country. I am not going to say that you shouldn't watch Fox Business News, but be very wary and alert to not only what they say but an subtle messages they might be trying to send.

Take each in it's own venue // this interview was fine -- in fact great.
The other stuff you say // for sure, consistently makes me think of FOX News as a Nazi propaganda machine.
But this interview (and that's all this is about) was great. I don't believe anyone is thinking FOX has changed its stripes. It's still quite obvious what they are -- even so -- the TRUTH that is RON PAUL still has a way of getting through their repeated attempts to cloud the issues. This is a fine example of that. Nothing more. If it was attempted as anything other than that -- they failed.
That is why I started as I did. It was an absolutely fantastic interview, but we should not allow this or other good interviews to allow us to drop our guard and get too comfortable. This is exactly how they used Fox News to manipulate conservatives. We got comfortable with Fox News, and so we did not notice the changes and misdirections.
The lady sounded like she knew what she was talking about. She probably won't last too long. She asked really good questions.
Ron Paul explains things pretty well but I think he loses people when he says they want to monetize the debt. I don't think many people know what that means and when they hear that they probably stop listening closely because they think it's over their heads. Every time he uses that expression he should say something like, "monetize the debt is just a fancy way of saying that since they can't raise enough money by taxing or borrowing, they have to print more money that isn't backed by anything. All this does is dilutes the value of the present money and therefore creates more inflation and higher prices. It's exactly like when a company issues more shares of stock. The value of each share goes down. Just because you own twice as many shares doesn't mean that the company doubled in size. Dollars are basically shares of the US economy. You don't double the economy just by printing more dollars."

how interesting this subject can get. I am so happy someone like RP can explain so well that ordinary people can understand the economy and monetary policy.

This was a great FOX News (Business News) interview. That surprises me; FOX News has seemed to me to have gone out of their way to discredit RON PAUL. But not this lady, she seems to have an understanding that RON PAUL knows his finance matters. She seemed quite impressed with our hero.
Hope she can keep her job there. Thanks for sharing this.
Corporations take another look
The "stagflation" has caused the corporations to take another look at Ron Paul's ideas... He is now, ever so slowly, being treated with respect. Gee...
Turn to Dr. Paul when they want to know the real truth don't they.
They use ya for your knowledge 'n throw ya aside.
Fox still sucks! Their so cheap that they can't get an updated photo.
No offense to the poster, I'll have to go back 'n look a couple, three times. My attitude is bad right now, grrrrr...
My thoughts exactly.
Fox Murdoch wanted some free advise from the briliant professor, after loosing billions on the market...and indeed, always that outdatet picture..
you can fool some people sometimes....
Really great interview
He just is so knowledgeable. It's a shame most Americans want photo opps and soundbites.
On the subject of Silver
I have been combing through my change looking for quarters, dimes etc pre 1970 and putting it away- Good Idea?

Not going to find many
You will not find many pre-1965 silver coins. This is Gresham's law at work. In fact, by sorting out the pre-1965 silver coins YOU are obeying Gresham's law! How about that! The market has a HIGHER law!
Look at the side of the quarters
If they are completely silver then you have a silver coin. The crap coins are the ones with the copper stripe running around the edge.
Pre 1965
I believe the cut-off date for silver is anything prior to 1965... and yes, saving those coins is always a good idea. They are worth far more than their face value.
I believe
the cut off is 1964.

Could also be an economic factor...
Murdock lost what.. a billion dollars or so in the last little while... market pressure for him perhaps?

But do they care?
I don't think the average American is going to think about what Ron said for more than 5 seconds after the interview was over.
Sad, but I'm betting it's true.
