Crashing Dollar leads to Media Exposure for Ron Paul
It certainly seems like during these past few days all of a sudden Ron Paul has been popping up in the news in relation to the federal reserve and the crashing U.S. dollar. If the campaign could get their act together, they could certainly capitalize on the current events to showcase Ron Paul as the man with the answers.
The campaign slogan should be "Those Who Know, Choose Ron Paul" since it's the people that have sought out the information that's not getting reported on whether it's on the federal reserve, the economy, illegal immigration, healthcare, education, foreign policy. social security, personal liberties, the war on drugs, family values, etc., end up agreeing with Dr. Paul. It's also why so many of financial people support him like Jim Rogers, Peter Schiff, Jim Cramer, Don Luskin, etc.
Here's hoping to see more Ron Paul exposure in the media and a continued "awakening" of We the People.

Media exposure
The MSM reflect what their owners, the major corporations, want. Now, once the big corporations begin to see that they are in a "lose-lose" situation with the Fed and its fiat money, and the huge balance of payment deficit gets worse, and the dollar continues to collapse, then, and only then, will Ron Paul's policy become "popular". I believe there will be, as the economic situation gets worse, which it will, the MSM will find a favorite "comeback kid" by the name of Ron Paul. The media, who must follow the corporate line, will find him of great interest and worth... and his policies of "merit" -- McCain will be found wanting. Freedom and Capitalism are not incompatible, but rather co-creative. Our neoconned national market is being strangled by political intention -- time to get rid of the "patriotic tax-collectors" and get on with just business.

The fact is Dr. Paul has finally been receiving notice by the main stream media. We have had more interviews with Ron Paul than ever. His word will ring true and his message of how to fix things will start to sink in.

Federal Reserve announced today that they will be pumping another $60 billion dollars into the economy in March. The dates are set for the 10th and 24th of March. Beginning in December with $40 billion, $60 billion in Jan, $60 billion in February, will put us at over $220 billion by March. I guess this policy is working so well that they are going to keep do it, so nothing to worry about.

The dollar index over the course of the last 260 day is VERY concerning -

The value of the dollar has dropped 12.44% since March 5 of last year. Printing more dollars which we do not have brought us to this point. Printing more this coming March will do more of the same. It's shame Bernanke believes that devaluing the dollar will decrease our trade deficit. If making the citizens of America spend more money for the same products is worth it to the Fed's, someone is going to benefit from these policies, but it sure as hell will not be you and me.

Bernanke may turn out to be right about shrinking the trade deficit. But it won't have anything to do with increasing US exports. The deficit will be reduced only because we can't afford to buy as much as we used to. We're broke.

"IF" the campaign had their act together this could be used as a powerful tool, but me thinks it's a little late in the game. Unfortunately, we have just witnesses the squandering of THE most spectacular politician in our history. The modern David taking on the modern Goliath. Our man had the credentials, the intelligence, the character, the messege, and the spunk, and let's not forget, the US Constitution...........but he didn't have professional public relations people. They simply didn't have a notion of how to package this product. They were easily outdone by novice grassroots folks like Trevor Lyman, who did more for the Ron Paul campaign than the rest of his "paid" staff put together. I don't know, I'm sure the call was made by Ron Paul himself regarding staff postitions, but they sure missed a lot of opportunities, beginning in Iowa. It's been downhill since then. If Ron Paul would have had a Karl Rove.........we'd be smiling.

You make it sound like it's over. Your entire post uses the past tense. My County assembly is tomorrow morning. The State assembly isn't until May 31. This thing is far from over. The good Doctor is an astute and clever politician. Trust the man, he's workin' it.

Dr. Pauls audience is going to get much larger, most people have to have something afftecting themselves before they listen to anything, so we have just begun. You are right he knows exactly what he is doing.

If this were over in every sense of the word, do you think Ron Paul would be continuing on? Since I first got involved with this r3volution, I realized that Ron Paul understood more about the system than anyone else. He is more optimistic than ever and he has been using his limited exposure as a Presidential candidate to further spread his message. Just think of all of the people that NOW pay attention to what he is saying. It is well documented that hundreds of thousands NOW rebroadcast every word that is uttered from Ron Paul's mouth. Whether it’s YouTube or blogs or what-have-you, the message is spreading. He is overly surprised as to how his message of freedom and limited government have taken a hold and as he put it, "I don't think I could stop this movement from going forward if I wanted to."

This, my friends, is NOT a message of defeat. This is a message that the Ron Paul R3volution will continue. Strength comes in the face of adversity and only the true worth of man is seen in bad times, not in good. Ron Paul is a man worth more than gold. Don't give up and keep fighting the good fight.
A recent conversation with my Ohio district Congressman Steve LaTourette's office relayed to me that it would be stupid to isolate these new Republicans. They have noticed the amount of Ron Paul signs that have been popping up in the yards of private citizens. The word has come without multi-million dollar ad campaigns. It has come from all of the Ron Paul disciples that are spreading the word and the good Doctor still needs our support. Just remember what brought you to this campaign in the first place and the fire will be lit again.
