Brzezinski

Does anybody know if this is truly Brzezinski's opinion? From what I've heard and read, he seems to be the crackpot that formulated the blueprints to go into Iraq, Uzbekistan, etc. He wants Eurasia big time, and he understands, and I believe has stated before, that the people need to be afraid, in order to continue with his "geo-strategic imperatives".

So I think he's just beating up on the administration now, because they'll be out soon, and he's preparing for his boy, Obama, another creation of his, to get into office. It must be a nice living for Brzezinski, having the ability to influence so much, and yet remain behind the curtain.

He's a foot soldier for the Rockefellers, taking from the barbarians, controlling the tributaries, and providing for the vassals.

They finally noticed??

How long has RP been saying that these 'terrorists' are no real threat to us militarily? We are just losing our rights and Freedoms at an alarming rate with our quiet acquiescence .

I think this is why so many people responded to the 5th of November fundraiser. I never saw the movie, V for Vendetta, but the book clearly showed how fear was encouraged to sway the people into giving up their freedoms following a 'terrorist' attack---which coincidentally was blamed on Muslims.

Just came out that Northrop Corporation has received a 35 billion dollar contract to build some air-tankers. Now, ain't that just what we need? I mean, think of it --- all this for the "War on Terror"! How in hell do they think that a huge and bloated air force will have anything to do with anything except giving big corporations bigger profits for producing more useless things? What, for the next BIG war? Oh yeh, a few dozen H-bombs arriving here and there by missile will make a non-radioactive rock one of the better weapons There won't be time to fill up the tank. Oh, by the way, Senator Shelby thinks this is a great idea -- lots of jobs in Alabama! What stupid swines.

The tanker contract was to replacing the B707/KC-135 and DC/KC-10 fleet, which was over fifty years old. It was also a rebid after the Boeing scandal that landed a top executive of theirs in jail because while at the Joint Program Office she sole-sourced the bid to Boeing then promptly took a job on their Board of Directors.

What you don't seem to realize is how the USAF operates. These tankers not only refuel all of our strike aircraft and bombers, and soon UAVs, but also Air Force One and Two and other aircraft in the government domestic fleet. These Airbus A330 tankers are also mutlipurpose and are convertible to cargo and troop haulers by removing the tanks. So it also upgrades that fleet as well away from the again and almost gone C-141 Starlifters, C-5 Guppies, C-130s, and newer C-17 Globemasters. This is acritical infrastructure upgrade to support national defense. This has NOTHING to do with the WOT.

Besides, the USAF has strike capabilities now that are out of some sci-fi book's wet dream, capabilities that make an air warpower a decided benefit to ground troops now. Go search MOAB, JDAMS, and J-SOW. If you think the Cold War is over you're kidding yourself.

Or would you prefer that our air assets be grounded from no fuel?
