What we can do right now -Delegate

Hi we have been talking alot about what happens to us if Ron Paul is not elected I for one would like to talk about how to make sure he is. Some one said something about being delegetes in our own states. Can I please get more info on how to get this started or who I need to call and what do I say. I have no party affliation as my state has open primaries. So do I need to be a Republican do be a delegate or what. I would like all the info I can get and will make calls today for my state if anyone can give me more info or has already done it and knows what do.
