My son had an idea...
He's 19 by the way. Too young to have his fire stifled. But old enought to see what's going on.
Why don't we all paint our faces blue? Like Braveheart. Or do something. Something where everybody sees us every day, and we stand out from the crowd. Where people go, "Why is your face painted blue?" And we say something like, "Because we're tired of the same 'ol rhetoric from our politicians. We're tired of special interest groups and cooporations controlling our government." Something NOT like, "Because the government is behind 911." or anything too controversial like that. Something that every American has to admit is true. The rich keep getting richer, and the poor keep getting poorer.
That gets people to notice us... every day.
And as more and more of us show up to work painted blue... starting with the true patriots, the ones who "woke up" the soonest, followed by all levels of sheep... slowly but surely until we had the majority. Well, you see where this is going..
Just an idea... what do you think?
P.S. And we don't have to do the blue face thing... but something where people would notice us. Like the people with the yellow ribbon who say, "We support our troops", when they really support the people who send our troops to other countries to die a horrible death to line someone else's pockets. Except instead of having it on our cars, we have the sign or symbol on our person... everywhere we go... and on our car maybe. A symobl not necessarily for Ron Paul, but for freedom.

Why don't we all paint our faces blue?

Here's an example that mimics your son's suggestion:

Personally, I'd suggest a red beard // (just me joking)
-- NO // not a good idea!
A small pin (maybe) to show uniformity and support, but painted faces would open the door to the rubber room and send any chances this man has to be president right down the toilet // You think the media is out to get him now because many of us supporters have the mind-set that 9/11 was an inside job -- They'd play havoc with this concept -- and that'd be it, run over, case closed; it'd make MCCAIN come away looking intelligent and noteworthy in comparison. No, afraid not, but thanks anyway.

You're comparing the painted blue face w/someone (anyone) that has a degree of understanding regarding what (??) -- 9/11? Is that your 'tin foil hat' reference?
http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/7720/tinfoilhat2cy2.jpg
Shows your true lack of understanding if it is.
So, what you're saying is it's okay to paint your face blue but not to come to understand that steel frame buildings just don't up and fall out of the sky // http://www.foxnews.com/images/36149/1_22_wtc_layout.jpg
Especially nothing for anyone to be concerned over that 3 did in one day, all within the same geographical vicinity; although the truth is it had never happened before in the history of mankind. Wow! Painted faces are okay, but intelligence questioning is not. Is that it?
As to lizard men // believe that might be a reference to a clip I submitted a few days back of DAVID ICKE (noted author) describing what it is he has come to know regarding the Illuminati // and of course some are quick to point out that this genius has also written about shape-shifting leaders of our world that have a blood line extending back to ancient times as a result of visitors from another planet. Didn't say that exactly with any degree of finess (just then) but you will surely understand my comment nevertheless as you seem to want to make it into something that it is not -- because -- in that clip DAVID ICKE never mentioned this particular research of his (and others) did he.

I'm not sure what to make of that black shirt and peyote button reference -- perhaps you're suggesting I use drugs? Not so. My mind is open to awareness whereas others prefer to remain locked in certain beliefs.

I suppose there are other type armbands, red cross maybe being one. But I couldn't help but think of this one particular group that widely used armbands -- it sure wouldn't be a good idea to be associated with them. And the media is quick to associate.

great idea
lets do it!

Yeah, that would actually
Yeah, that would actually work against us. "Ron Paul supporters prove again they're crazy"
Not to mention maybe the younger Revolutionaries would do this, but I can't see a broker, or a lawyer, etc, painting their face blue.
How about the good old Ron Paul button?
The blue revolution?
Two thousand years ago, a Roman Senator suggested that all slaves wear white armbands to better identify them.
"No," said a wiser senator. "If they see how many of them there are, they may revolt"

Lost Thread IDEA!! I AM RON PAUL!!! UPDATED!!
Posted January 12th, 2008 by takeaction
Okay...I was reading through hundreds of threads..and somebody out there had an idea that I thought was great for a T-Shirt or Bumper Sticker. I am going to have them made if nodody else does. On The T-Shirt it will say "I am Ron Paul" That is it. THis will generate so many comments....and if you think about it. All of us are Ron Paul. We are an extension of him........and for years to come...no matter what happens in this BS world.....for my entire life....even 30 years from now when the good doctor is gone.....for life....I AM RON PAUL......what a cool idea to initiate questions and explain what the Shirt means to people who ask.

I've been tagging my name with WE ARE RON PAUL.
Both are extremely effective.
Another good one could be something like -

WE ARE AMERICA
WE ARE RON PAUL
WHO ARE YOU?
what does that mean...
do you mean when you add your name to internet posts,
you tag it with one of these phrases?

I like the idea, but...
Trying to wake millions of Americans up is such a huge daunting task considering what we're up against.
I have talked to a lot of people and it usually goes like this..
Me: "For the first time in my life we have a truly honest man running for president; Ron Paul is the only candidate i've ever seen who has the peoples best interest in mind and not some special interest group"!
Them: "Who's Ron Paul"
Me: "He's running for president"
Them: "I never see him on TV"
Me: "Urrrrgh"!!!!
same experience for me...
same experience for me...
I will wear my Ron Paul
I will wear my Ron Paul button every day untill election day.
the problem
People who are trying to become delegates have to convince the party faithful that they are good little neocons and have to lay low. The rest of us should go nuts, though. Just always remember that some people are working hard for the cause and having to do it with a mouthful of sh#$.
Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.
Keep it Moving
We all have to keep on moving and not give up. If your primary and conventions have passed then it is time to become involved in your local party. Become a precinct leader and send out post cards to your fellow citizens are start organizing on a local level. My fellow Americans this is just the beginning.
idea
I wouldn't paint my face blue but, i like the concept.
The DP is proof that the grassroots support for Ron Paul and his peaceful message of individual liberty is large, real, and not going away!
Yeah, I agree...
He's only 19. You know how kids are. But maybe something like the ribbon. Something that we have on our person. Maybe an American flag with the words, "Ask me about Freedom", or something like that.
Something that gets the dialogue going, and let's us all know we're not alone. Like in my office at work, I'm surrounded by people making $75,000/year or more, so they all seem to be republicans as you can imagine. They are also a bunch of neocon lovers, just like I used to be. (Brainwashed.) But, I noticed in one guy's cubicle, he had a bunch of Ron Paul articles taped up all over the place. I asked him about Dr. Paul and we got into a big long conversation about the election. Next thing I know we're all talking about Ron Paul, Romney, McCain, etc., etc.
Now I don't know if we converted anybody, but I'm pretty vocal about my opinion. And if the economy goes south... and I'm pretty sure it is going to... then I can look them all in the face and say, "I told you so.", you should've voted for Ron Paul... at the very least.
But the symbol at least gets people talking. As long as you don't rant or rave too much... people will listen. Most of them know they don't have a clue.
Thank god for people like your son
It says alot to me that he is using his head to get the message out. Sometimes you need to paint your face blue to make a statement. It sounds like your son could make a great leader someday. Please keep teaching him about Ron Paul's message, and let him know he can make a difference. I tell you what, I would paint my face blue, get naked and paint my butt red if I knew it would help Ron Paul get elected. Ron Paul could get shot over this. He risked his life to spread this message, we cannot forget that. Keep up the great work.
