Surprise! I just showed up and I'm a delagate to the Regional!

On a TV station last night, sorry, I didn't notice which one, if local or national, they said that Republicans don't caucus -- that just the Democrats in Texas caucus and that Republicans vote and go home. Luckily I heard about the caucus at the polling place. Out of 10 slots for delegates and for 10 alternates, there were only four of us there...so, we are the four delegates. If Huckabee does drop out, this could be a good thing. However, they said if Dr. Paul doesn't get at least 20%, we wouldn't be able to vote for delegates for him at the Regional Convention? Maybe that's what all those "other" votes are for -- to keep him below 20%? Who knows?

The rules can change at the convention! And, as a delegate, you can vote on the rule changes.

So, nothing is over and you did the right thing! See you in St. Paul!
