and they said it was a serious problem, in fact i think it was on the DP someone from TX said that! However, what good to keep him in TX if the whole country goes down?
I MEAN COME ON! Those TEXANS KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THE NAU is no 'CONSPIRACY'!!! They know RP is the only one that will fight it!!!
So why of all people didn't they vote him in as president, really beats me...

CNN had a check mark by his name much earlier. So I think it has been a lock for a while now. First check mark I saw by the way. It made him stand out.

One of the big stumbling blocks that I have seen from most of the people I have seen is Ron Paul's foreign policies. As President, Ron Paul would have a lot of control over our nation's foreign policy, so his views and beliefs would be center stage. Unfortunately, too many Republicans have bought into the neo-conservative mindset of foreign policy, so they fear what might happen should Ron Paul implement his plans.

As a congressman, however, Ron Paul is a great voice for conservative values, fiscal responsibility, and a voice of opposition to the Federal Reserve. The biggest hurdle has and probably always will be foreign policy, but as our economy continues to worsen, foreign policy will seem less and less important as our focus turns inward. That is probably Ron Paul's best chance at the Presidency. He can then work on convincing the American people of the rightness of his world view by demonstrating it to them. ;-)
