This isn't quite correct
This is actually a 3-part documentary. 3 hours. It is one of my favorites, especially in explaining the rise of the neo-cons and radical Islamists. It's very topical in that it talks about how politicians want to protect us from our nightmares. (Hillary Clinton's recent 3AM ad comes to mind.)

The statement that Al-qaeda is a complete fabrication sounds like a gross exaggeration. I'm not an expert on this, but I would go elsewhere for any authoritative information on Al-qaeda.

this is a little silly. Even if, and this is a big IF, there was no al qaeda structural orginization, they exist now, simply because people believe they exist, and any muslim fanatic can take up the cause and start an al-qaeda cell

If they exist now, then the leaders could very well be, Bush, Cheney, Pelosi, FBI, CIA, Homeland Security, almost all members of the US House and Senate and other extremist not yet caught in this nation wide hunt for answers.
