Libertas, Pax, Prosperitas
I'll be there with a big sign that reads;
Make D.C. into prison facility!
I suggest we move the capital back to Pennsylvania. It is a much nicer place. Of course we could have a rotating Capitol moving from State to State each two years or so, then we'd really de-centralize government.
So is it official?
I got my handful of people ready to go!
If No One Organizes
we just all show up and march and rally and march and rally....
you know, like a movement!
April 30 - The Book
June 21 - The March
Sept 1-3 The Convention
march
hup, 2,3 4
So Excited !
Finally a day that I can be involved in! I only get to support Dr. Paul from across the seas but I will be home in Va. for this special day. Can't wait!
Become a delegate!
In any war there is always propaganda and misinformation produced to discourage the enemy. We are the enemy; if you don't understand that yet, then you need to wake up!!
12 more States to go and two territories; my question is, doesn't Hawaii have primaries this year?
March 11 - Mississippi
April 5 - Virgin Islands
April 22 - Pennsylvania
May 3 - Guam
May 6 - Indiana, North Carolina
May 13 - Nebraska, West Virginia
May 20 - Kentucky, Oregon
May 27 - Idaho
June 3 - Montana, New Mexico, South Dakota
Sept.1-4 Republican National Convention — Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN
A National March
For those who cannot afford to come to D.C., a national march in every state capitol on the same day! What a message THAT would send!
Who's gonna coordinate? Any volunteers?
Why are you so hung up on doing it on the same day?
.
Who is going to be the
Who is going to be the organizing body that gets the permits?
Awesome date!
My date of choice! Logistically, it is great---on a Saturday so we don't have commuter traffic, schools and colleges are out so more people can come. The date has significance with the Constitution but isn't so well known that it will overshadow our March. It can become our Day, the day that the rEVOLution marched on Washington! The weather ought to be good, Summer but not July dog-days. It is an all-around winner!
We Should March In Our States Tax Day
Does that sound like a good solution. By all means anyone who can go to D.C. on April 15th do it. June 21st on D.C.
im packing the van full of
im packing the van full of people!!!
march onwards or towards or forwards lol!!!!!
Doesn't
Doesn't seem like a good date to me.....no signifigance to that date for most people....folks will have gotten over the fact that they just filed their income tax.and tons of people will be on vacation.........
Great day! Kids out of
Great day! Kids out of school, warm enough weather, and we will make a vacation out of this, great history lesson for all of us, I have been wanting to go to Washington DC and this will be a perfect opportunity.
Yes
Should be nice weather and a great day for you kids to learn about things like Tasers, Billy Clubs, and Rubber Bullets....being inquisitive I'm sure they will ask intelligent questions like, "Mommy, why has daddy been arrested"
JLH, looking for a fight
How sad. Is this really how you spend your day? Pathetic.
Dave
Saw the interview with the parents of that autism girl...they said it was caused by the way the process went and "we still encourage you to get your kids vaccinated..just do it correctly"
And, I'll be in DC on June 21st!!!!!!!
and I'll have some folks with me
Not me
Be in Disney World with my family all week..............people learned from Vietnam era marches are pretty well useless
Don't let that Class 5 Hurrican
hit you in the ass.
It was my preferred date anyway
See you in DC!
Why has
Grannywarrior organized a march during the middle of the week?
Anybody?
I may be wrong on this - but
I may be wrong on this - but isn't her march on income tax day? It would be nice to have it on the weekend, but I understand why they're not ....
There were plans
already laid for Tax Day before Ron Paul announced a march. That's why, even though we were waiting for a date, some plans were already there.
I have been waiting for a date and will be in D.C. for June 21st and maybe do something local for Tax Day.
Defend Liberty!
Yep, clear as a bell June 21st
I'll be in DC with you all!!!!!!! and my wife and child.
I'll see you all there!
I'll see you all there!
That line confused me..
Is dr. paul asking we the people to organize and march on June 21st?
Perhaps he knows from experiance in this campagn, that his supporters can organize far better and cheaper than his official campagn staff. What is the significance of that date?
At first I thought it was Flag Day, but ...
It's the first day of summer! :-)
Constitution was ratified....

The US Constitution: Introduction
US Constitution
The original US Constitution is housed in the National Archives in Washington, D.C.
The Constitution of the United States is a document that outlines the basis of the federal (national) government of the USA. It was written in 1787 at the "Constitutional Convention," held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in what we now call Independence Hall. The 55 men at the convention are called the "Founding Fathers" of the USA, and are also known as the "Framers of the Constitution." Some of the more famous of the framers are George Washington (the first President of the USA), James Madison (the fourth President of the USA), Benjamin Franklin, and Alexander Hamilton.
The US Constitution was ratified (approved) by nine states on June 21, 1788 (Delaware was the first state to ratify it); it was later ratified by the remaining states. It replaced the earlier set of government rules, the Articles of Confederation, which were the law of the land from 1781 until 1788 (this document created a group of semi-independent states plus a weak national Congress, with neither an Executive nor a Judicial branch).
The Constitution sets up the United States with a federal (national) government plus state governments. It also specifies that the USA will be a republic, with an elected President, a bicameral congress (consisting of two legislative branches, a House of Representatives and a Senate), and a system of courts headed by a Supreme Court.
The Constitution is composed of a Preamble (an introduction), the main body (which consists of seven articles), and amendments (additions to the Constitution made after the Constitution was created).
