Ron Paul is Out?!! LOL!
I just love the fact that everyone is soooooooo paranoid about "Did he quit... is it over... are we screwed... should I not continue to donate?!"
CHILL OUT PEOPLE!
Do you REALLY believe Ron Paul would let someone else tell the public that he was dropping out? C'mon folks! Get serious! The man respects us a lot more than that. He will be out when he says so himself -- it's the least he'd be willing to do.
What amazes me is how many of you that have given your life's savings away to his campaign and yet you still don't know ANYTHING ABOUT THE MAN! That is scary.
Bottom line, he's not out -- he said to please keep donating so he could continue. He also said to be delegates. The media wants him out -- and do you know why? Because if McCain gets sick or (God forbid) something bad happens to him, Ron Paul is the winner by default because he is the only candidate left in the GOP race "officially." Once you drop out, you cannot jump back in... it's in the rules.
Regardless, don't you think the media fears the worst? Believe me, they know and understand that when it comes to voting at the convention -- it's still a long ways away and anything can happen because he's (McCain) about as old as they come and not very stable in his health and mind. Besides, technically, McCain doesn't have the delegate "magic number" count anyway -- it's only assumed by the media. That's a fact too.
So if you want quit the campaign, then quit. If you don't want to donate money anymore -- then there's the door! But don't you dare start slinging mud about Ron Paul because you "thought" he quit on you. He hasn't quit -- you did.
I think the MSM keeps getting Dr. Paul confused
with RuPaul. We all know that RuPaul has been "out" since the 90's. It's old news.

He hasn't told us any fibs yet. He is in it to the RNC and so am I.
I can certainly see how having the delagates is going to work. This is a peaceful revolution, but as in all revolutions, wars, battles, much like people playing strategy games like chess or monopoly, you don't let your opponent know what you are planning. Everyone hang in there and keep doing what you're doing. Come here, share info and stratagies. I have learned tons by being here. More news that's for real on the net than anywhere. I even found a europian website that may be of some interest to everyone. Some of the authors and articles are quite eye opening and you won't hear any of it from our MSM. So everyone take a deep breath and continue on our journey.

No reason not to vote for Dr. Paul if you haven't gotten to already.
No reason not to keep spreading the message of liberty
No reason not to support local/state/congressional candidates that align with this message.
But Ron Paul will not be elected President in 2008. The point is: this isn't about a man. It's about a message. Worry about the message now.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised that RP knew exactly what to say and what Jesse would say and how the media would eat it up and run with it. Neither of them said they were dropping out -- they only mentioned the campaign was winding down, which it is and has been for a while now. Think about it -- they all link to the video on Ron Paul's web site... and if anyone were to view it, they would clearly see that he isn't dropping out at all. Then they could also say to themselves, "Hmm... here are some other videos, let me check them out and see what's he all about." (ha!)

We don't need the media, we need to depend on ourselves!
Ignore the media, get out of their system, think for yourself. We have money and we will donate when the time is right. Many of us were unsatisfied with the way the campaign people spent the money, since giving it to a media who rejects our candidate doesn't seem wise. What we need to hear from the campaign is how are they going to spend the money. We will be there if the money is spent wisely, since we trust Ron Paul, but are cautious about the campaign people. Ron Paul trusts us too and he needs to understand that we will be there for him when he needs us. First though we need to get to work, spend our money on signs, slimjims, trip to Washington. The weather is getting better and we will be demonstrating all over the country, not just in Washington. In front of every public location, not afraid and willing to put up a fight for our R3VOLUTION!!!

Sometimes bad things happen to BAD people. And sometimes it's a blessing of relief that the bad person isn't suffering anymore.
What are the rules about suspending a campaign? Is there a time frame for re-entering?

Don't forget, Ron Paul never said that he was "SUSPENDING" the campaign, only Romney did. Now the question is.... if Romney "suspended" his campaign and went so far as to endorse another candidate and encourage his delegates to vote for that candidate is Romney past "the point of no return" according to the rules? I think that he should be, but I am sure that will be argued should McInsane be unable to continue.
