My two cents

I have caught myself getting down about the news that Dr. Paul is winding his campaign down...but I have to keep reminding myself of something.
The strategy is to get as many delegates as possible to the convention. And if efforts in my state are any indication, that may be a LOT of delegates.
Dr. Paul at this point cannot come out and lay out his election strategy. And he might be looked at with raised eyebrows if he forges ahead pretending as if he can win in the conventional sense.
So he lays low. And waits for St Paul. Ya gotta have faith!

Let's change these post headings to silver or gold to hedge against inflation and attract more readers. Thanks....your thoughts are valuable....waaay more than 2 cents!

Either way
no matter what happens, we continue onward, educating and awakening as many people as we can. Our economy is in chaos and non of the candidates will solve the problem. Informing as many sheeple as we can, we can at least gather support for other like minded candidates and future elections!

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
why keep it a secret?
if this is his strategy- and by all appearances it is...
why not come right out and say it--
show your cards--
Eastern Oregon is Ron Paul Country!
unfortunately...
part of the game is subterfuge. in my state, its rather important than we fly under the radar and act like "good republicans" in order to delegate spots. no need to show our cards till those delegate spots are won.
stealth is an asset
I think even more so now. I also believe this position Ron Paul beautifully as THE PROTEST VOTE of choice for all of the remaining primaries.
The Thing Is
We are good Republicans. I am noticing a definite shift in the comments on Townhall.com, a hangout for people following the Republican party. Many conservatives are waking up to the fact that McCain is a terrible choice -- really, he isn't even a real choice for them. They are threatening mutiny, and many of them are starting to seriously consider Ron Paul. I think the delegate push has an excellent chance of success because the true conservatives are angry that the betrayal of the Republican party, and they are realizing that Ron Paul really was the best choice of the bunch.
There is still much to hope for even within the halls of the Republican Party. That being said, I think the current leadership of the party is going to require a significant overhaul if it is to remain a viable party. The base of the Republican party is still strong; they were just misguided. They, like many of us, are waking up to the fact that they have been deluded for decades. The Revolution is spreading!
