Status of HR 1022, New Assault Weapons Ban

New assault weapons ban in congress. Actually it's not new it was introduced in Feb. last year and it's still in Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security apparently. I just checked the Library of Congress. I don't know how many of you are aware of it so I thought I'ld let you know. Write your reps and demand they vote against it if it should come up for a vote!
