Important message! Hope!!

My fellow patriots!

1st off, DIRECTLY FROM THE RON PAUL CAMPAIGN, he is NOT out of the race! He is NOT quitting! He IS running stealth!

Now from me: Ron Paul has always been subtle in his campaigns, and we are now starting to “play” the game the same way as the Republicans have been playing.

I called several people that are State coordinators for RP in bound states. I asked:

Me: “Since the State Primary vote went to McCain, and the delegates are bound to vote for McCain in round one (more in some states) at the National Convention, how do they get to vote if McCain drops out?”

Answer: “They get to vote their heart! That is why it is so important that we ALL, NATIONWIDE, keeping getting National delegate/alternate seats!”

Me: “So the State Republican Party can’t force a delegate to vote for Romney if he comes back into the race?”

Answer: “No. The only thing they could attempt to do is have an “emergency” voting session. THE DELEGATES GOING TO NATIONAL BEING THE ONLY ONES THAT COULD VOTE IN THAT SESSION! Whoever wins that vote, would “bind” them to that new candidate. See why getting every National delegate seat filled for RP is so important Nationwide?”

Me: “So NO one is bound if their candidate drops out or suspends?”

Answer: “No…they are free to vote for whomever they want. Now McCain is going to all of the delegates that were bound to Romney and Huckabee, and getting “pledge cards” from them. Legally, that probably will not hold up as a vote if any of those people change their mind to vote for someone else that is IN the race!”

So patriots! This is not anywhere near over!

Here’s why: There are six months left until National. Anything could happen where McCain would either drop out of his own accord or is forced out by the GOP or the FEC. Here are some VERY viable reasons for dropping out:
1. Federal Elections Commission Fraud
2. He is battling cancer – Melanoma (skin cancer) since 1992
3. He is the “target” for the Dems. They are going to rip him 8 new ass holes in the next few months, being, McCain/Kennedy, McCain/Feingold, McCain/Lieberman, McCain/Veterans, Keating 5, Affair with a lobbyist (legal consequences there), 2nd Amendment issues, Voted AGAINST Bush on tax cuts, and the list goes on and on.
4. With the Dems targeting him, with his temper, he could very well do something that the RNC would throw him out for.
5. If he drops out or is forced out, YES!!! Romney could come back in! Huckabee, Newt…any of them. BUT!!! Would they have the delegates by then? NO! That is why we are trying to seat as many delegates as possible! OUR VOTE WILL NEVER, EVER WAIVER!!!

We MUST run stealth! Play the Republican Party’s game by their own rules! Work your ASS off for a National Delegate seat! What sweeter revenge is there than going into convention, with all of them, expecting to hear a nomination for whoever and Ron Paul GETTING THE NOMINATION because we were stealth, got the seats, played the game, and WON THE WAR!!!

We must all continue to garner Precinct Committee seats, get all State and Congressional delegate/alternate seats, push and campaign for ourselves to become National delegates/alternates? Why?

In a nutshell.
McCain could drop out for many reasons.
Romney could come back in.
So could others.
We continue to snatch up as many delegate seats as possible across the nation.
By having all those delegate seats, we go to National.
We vote at National for Ron Paul, for he is IN THIS TO THE END!
WE WIN A SURPRISE VICTORY NOMINATION THAT STUNS THE WORLD!
War over!
We win!

100% Right

This is the new front for the movement.
There probably is no way of knowing how many RP supporters are moving up the delegate ranks but I am sure it is impressive.
To think a McCain "REPUBLICAN" would go vote for Hillary in Texas and Ohio shows their true color. We are the ones who want to fix this country.

Speaking of McCain's temper...

The DP is proof that the grassroots support for Ron Paul and his peaceful message of individual liberty is large, real, and not going away!

I pledged months ago to stay until he OFFICIALLY QUITS

Unless and until I hear Dr. Paul state that he has dropped his candidacy I will continue to fight for him as I previously pledged.

I think he said that he would stay in this until he no longer has the support and the funds, certainly there is support, and although I don't know, I don't think the campaign is insolvent. Keep going.

How are the votes

cast and counted at the nomination? In a Diebold machine? Perhaps it would be a good idea to check all this out before show time.

The Libertarian Party Uses Scraps of Paper

Of course, being "the party of principle" we Libertarians don't expect cheating.

Keep in mind that many party loyalists are pragmatists, and will side with the nominee who has the most support. They would resent it very much to have their own votes hijacked or taken for granted, and will be vigilent against it (fearing us, probably). I imagine the convention will be a major chess-game (or maybe poker) with the victory going to those on their toes.

I wonder if CSPAN has any previous conventions we can study?

Have You Ever Watched a Convention?

They are counted in small blocks and announced state by state ..
When each state announces its total you had better know that everyone present there agrees with that count or else all h**l would break loose.
No machines need apply

Right On!

you say, "Play the Republican Party’s game by their own rules!"

Well, here are the rules:

The Delegate Rule Book for the RNC
Read It--Learn It--Know It! Don't let the GOP violate the rules.
Who knows you could learn a few tricks of your own.
pdf file:
www.gop.com/images/2008_Call_FINAL.pdf

Mathew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

I did read the rules Lynnopoly has above (or below)

Anyone here over 35 and born a U.S. Citizen? We could nominate YOU at the convention with a majority "demonstration of support" from only five states. That means, I'm guessing, there's an open mic and the Chair opens nominations and somebody says your name (or Ron Paul's ) and if a bunch of people constituting the majority of delegates from at least 5 states start singing and marching to one of the many excellent Ron Paul songs, he's in as a potential nominee -- it being irrelevant who these delegates may be bound to vote for, because this happens before the vote.

I haven't been to one of these for the GOP, but the rules linked don't say anything about the nominee having to be on ballots in any state prior to this, and I believe that's because the delegates make the rules and why wouldn't they reserve this power for themselves?

Really, why would the delegates let anybody else decide who they nominate? Not the press, not the candidates, not government officials or even party officials. The rank and file vote the rules, and they rule.

We are in the Gobe

We passed the half way point. We can see the end of the CFR's wall.
