"Having made sure that Iraq gets new schools, roads, bridges and dams that we deny America, now we are making sure that France gets the jobs that Americans used to have," said Rep. Rahm Emanuel, D-Ill. "We are sending the jobs overseas, all because John McCain demanded it."

And McCain is the guy that the majority of the republican party is currently rallying behind?

...only as a preliminary. Consider how this works with the majority of the populace:
Step 1: Recognize that InSane is _not_ someone you'd want for president; cross him off your list of potential candidates to receive your precious vote.
Step 2: Look around and see who else is still available; check them out; give the best remaining candidate your vote.
You and I know that RP has not dropped out. Most of the nation, however, believes he is indeed out; in fact, many thought he was out long ago (or never even knew he was ever in the race), since they haven't heard much of anything about him via OM.
So, as they become disenchanted with InSane, where will they look? To the Dem candidates; possibly even Nader. They won't look to someone who they think does not exist as a candidate. How can you choose what doesn't exist?
Therefore, while people beginning to look away from InSane is a good thing, it only sends their attentions to the candidates who are all "more of the same," as long as people believe that RP is out.
The only thing to combat this mentality is to employ our own combat mentality of Boots On The Ground. Revolution "troops" must run the charge by word of mouth. The zeal we displayed at the beginning of the campaign needs to look like child's play compared to what we need to be doing NOW.
Word of mouth. Personalized attention. I rather suspect that posting things on boards and such will merely cause others to view RP supporters as "those poor, delusional fools who don't know when to give up," see, because the OM told them RP was out, so it must be true.
This is evangelism I'm talking about; albeit secular evangelism. Christians: ask yourselves -- how many people come to accept the Lord because a sign is hanging up that says "Jesus is the way" vs. a personal interaction; a real relationship with another person who leads them to Jesus?
No, I'm not saying RP is our Savior (not with a capital "S", anyway!), but the tactic is the same. Making it personal makes it real.
Sorry...I didn't mean to ramble on so, but, I strongly felt this needed to be said. Boots on the ground!!! Onward into the fray!!
Ride the tide to inform others that RON is STILL IN THIS RACE!
The following day at work, lots of people went out of their way to tell ME that Ron dropped out----I just said "DON"T YOU BELIEVE IT! Go to Ronpaul2008.com if you want to get the REAL news on Ron Paul's Campaign,"
Didn't that release his delegates? Sure Romney could come back, but would he still have his delegates? I would think all those delegates are FREE AGENTS now.

Any state where Romney or Huckabee was declared the winner, the delegates once selected are unbound and able to vote at the RNC for any candidate on the first and all ballots. That is why it is so important to....

The military is fighting amongst themselves for our tax dollars. Northrop is a longtime navy supplies. Johnny Mac is a former squid. Ergo Sum.
Boeing has been the darling of the air force since the learned how to drop bombs with lighted fuses from biplanes.
I wondered if slitting Boeing's throat on the 6 billion dollar tanker deal was going to bite him in the ass. That was a few years ago. I guess he leveled the playing field for his boys.
Subbing a bunch of it to France was probably not too wise politically on the surface but I'm sure there's some back room deal somewhere that sent the work to France as a political chip to be cashed in later. Or who knows, maybe that was payback to the French killing all of the business they had with Saddam. Stranger things have happened.
What gets me is that they would actually hose their constituients especially during an election year. Those kind of mistakes seem to be uniformly fatal in politics. Did they consider this? Maybe they feel they can take the election despite the opposition this will generate. Even if Johnny doesn't get elected Northrop Grumman still hs the contract and will be very grateful to him. Maybe his wife will get a seat on the board?
