I am glad they are protesting the war in Iraq, but they are also advocating the other war. The illegal invasion, illegal workers in this country. I believe they cause as much harm to this economy as the war. If we keep allowing the farce and fallacy of cheap labor ( there is NO such thing ) in this country, legal Americans will be faced with migrating to another country to look for work. Its getting that bad.

Just as Ron Paul does not support sanctions against other nations, I am sure he would not support sanctions (or disruption of trade) with our own. With the other NAFTA and NAU things in place, this would hurt most the very people who are asked to support it. The imports could be redirected to Canada or Mexico, trucked in on international trucks through our already open highway borders.
My first clue was the number of times the word "capitalist" was used. Please, if this is the next form of attack or infiltration the rEVOLution will meet, educate yourself about socialism and communism so you can distinguish the difference.

Its a show of solidarity only.... Its purpose is to make a statement. Just like a rally, march or as you may prefer a candlelight vigil. Thank you for your concern though. A one day action will not support the logistical alteration you suggest. "Onward"

I usually don't get alarmist, but all the responses to this point were 100% supportive. This is exactly the kind of alliance that the MSM would like the revolution to be connected to and the cause they are ultimately working toward is the opposite of what we are trying to achieve. Just like Ron Paul has to screen those he endorses for political office, we have to be very careful that those we align ourselves with are really moving toward the same goal.
Recent history is showing that another lack in our public education is the history of communism/ socialism/ Marxism, and other forms of tyranny so we can recognize the steps moving in that direction before we are hit with the final product "overnight".
You are also correct that a one day demonstration may not make much difference, but if that is the only intent, how would it make a big enough statement to get the attention of Washington DC (when not even widespread public disapproval makes any difference in policy)?

Its primarily aimed at corporate America. The evil stepchild, if you will, of big Government. Its not an Atom bomb. Its a statement that will hit them in the wallet just a pinch as if you lost a days pay, kinda. In addition I think it may have a slight impact on Shipper / Receiver relations.
