RON PAUL MUST SPEAK AT THE CONVENTION

If he declares an independent run now he will not be able to do that. WE NEED THAT FACE TIME!

You think Ron Paul was ignored before, wait until he declares himself an independent. The convention is the only forum that will allow Ron to speak his message to a CAPTIVE audience not necessarily there to see him. Everyone there WILL hear his message, they may even listen to it.

If he still does not get the nomination but the voting is close, that would be the time to make that call.

Also, I have said this before, if the Rally is hugely successful, he my be rejuvenated enough to say that an independent run is still possible if the nomination is not secured at the convention.

We have our tickets, lets not throw them away.

NEVER SURRENDER!

Don't give up!

Be in Washington on the 21st of June as requested by Ron Paul.

If you can't be a delegate, then volunteer at the convention, you will be able to influence undecided voters.

And if not invited to speak...

...he should hold a rally right next door that dwarfs whatever is happening at the convention...and we should all be there!

Nice post! I have always

Nice post! I have always thought Ron was going to use the RNC as a launching pad for a 3rd party run. There would be no better time to announce it. He would effectively be crashing his own party, but they deserve it and the American people know it.

Ron said he would not run as a 3rd party candidate, but Hillary Clinton also said she would not run for president. The D.C. March CAN change things...the economy can also change things. If the economy keeps its current pace and the dollar continues to plunge, the American people are going to be faced with a severe recession. Ron Paul is the only candidate who has warned the American people about the economy and our monetary policy. He has positioned himself perfectly - Ron Paul is just what the Dr. ordered for an ailing economy. He is the strongest anti-war candidate, and he also has the strongest economic background to fix the American economy. I think a 3rd party run would be possible if Ron keeps his focus primarily on the war and the economy.

If he is not invited to speak at the RNC, that may backfire and anger the delegates. Many delegates at the convention are going to want to hear Dr. Paul speak. If he is not allowed to speak, the delegates in attendance may revolt. I honestly do not believe John McCain will win on the first ballot. The media is giving him empty delegates. McCain's supporters are not excited about him or his message of endless war. American people are not signing up to become delegates for John McCain like they are for Ron Paul - that is a fact.

The old school conservatives of the Republican Party have one last chance to save their own party, and our country. The delegates in attendance will be well informed about Ron Paul and John McCain come September 1st.

Well

I always hear Ron Paul say, "NO, I have no intentions of doing that." There is a difference in no intentions and no way, period.

Hilary Said

She would NOT campaign in Florida either.....WHO DO YOU TRUST???

BTW, you made made some very good points yourself.

Here's what I know...

Heard Dr. Paul say at a recent interview, "I hope I'm invited to speak at the Convention" or words to that affect - he not assuming it's even possible.

Also, Pat Buchanan was only allowed to speak AFTER he promised to support Bush - this is a historical fact.

The RNC controls the convention - candidate or not!

Some promises are meant to

Some promises are meant to be broken.

Republicans

are the ones who should control the convention. We should be able to pressure for a speech from him.

My point EXACTLY!

....

The only way Dr. Paul will

The only way Dr. Paul will be able to get a speech at the RNC is if he is invited to do so. Dr. Paul has already commented on this. He said he would if invited. But he also said they probably don't want him there.

Dr. Paul only has like 14 delegates. They are not going to invite him to give a speech and he has no leverage to pressure them to do so.

At a brokered convention Dr. Paul would have been able to practically demand a speech. But brokered is not gonna happen now.

Time to do what Dr. Paul is asking us to do. Keep doing the delegate and precinct captain thing and try to influence the GOP platform in preparation for electing Ron Paul Republicans in the future. This is what he is asking us to do.

Dr. Paul is not going to be the Republican nominee for president. Dr. Paul is not going to give a speech at the RNC unless he is invited to do so, which is highly unlikely.

Time to move on and focus on electing Ron Paul Republicans...

Hi...

Have you read this?

http://www.dailypaul.com/node/36711

Somebody is confused, not sure who.

Go Ron Paul | Go Grassroots

Huh?

Jesse Benton, the official Ron Paul campaign spokesman said "We acknowledge that Ron Paul will not be the nominee".

Now, some people react to Benton's statement by saying something like "Oh boy! This is some secret plan of Dr. Paul's to use his secret ninja power to steal the victory".

I'm not one of those people.

=P

The FREEDOM RALLY could change EVERYTHING!

....

LOL How many times have you

LOL How many times have you copy-n-pasted this today???

"But, indeed, no private person has a right to complain, by suit in court, on the ground of a breach of the Constitution. The Constitution it is true, is a compact, but he is not a party to it."

1st Time as a Forum Main Topic

but the 3rd Time I posted it. THANKS FOR NOTICING :).

Not MUST speak - WILL speak

Maybe I have gone totally bonkers, but I strongly believe that Dr. Paul will be our next President. Although I am not a delegate, I plan to attend the RNC in MSP in September. I did sign up to be a volunteer. . . . . And, of course, the nominee WILL SPEAK, and the nominee is DR. RON PAUL!

"Nothing is as it appears; everything is smoke and mirrors"

What response did you get when you signed up

to volunteer? I did it and got one email and have heard nothing more, so I'm just curious if you got the same...

I can not agree with you more..

That fact he IS going will have ALL GOPs standing in AWE, asking themselves: Where did he come from? Why have I not heard this before? When the economy gets worst, I am confident people WILL be more receptive to his message at the GOP convention.

We are going to be GRABBING the BULL by the HORNS!

I smell a skism!

the gop would shit!

YEA BABY!
