Ron Paul wins district caucus in Washington State today, March 8, 2008

Don't give up, attend your caucuses and primaries, here's why. We scored a victory today. "You can get 50% or better with 6% of ppl." Ron Paul has the majority in this district for delegates going to the Washington State convention May 29-31 in Spokane. The MSM numbers reported for this state mean very little, the process continues.

C: good evening!
Sent at 6:50 PM on Saturday
G: hey!
How was the interview
C: it was fine
i went to my district caucus today
8 to 3pm
G: why so long
more importantly, are you a delegate
C: i am an alternate delegate
there were 198 ppl showed up
we had about 30 RP ppl
G: hmm
was there a straw poll so everyone had a chance to see about how many for each
C: we had our list and we knew who we only vote for
G: so i take it mccain won easily with those numbers
C: in the first round, we had 67 ppl want to go to the state convention
G: oh
C: someone request that these 67ppl should give 10 seconds speech who they intend to vote for
however the chairman said it's not required by law and it would take too long
every one voted no
so the first ballot resulted 10 ppl got selected and 8 are RP
G: wow
C: those were ppl who got 50% votes or more
because we voted for each other and the rest of sheep did multiple guessing
second round comes
someone stood up to request little speech again.. and this time the audiences voted yes
a few RP got up and said something like ' i am christian conservative and would like to participate at the state convention'
most of the mccain supporters say 'i will vote for mccain'
few ppl said they were mitt or huckabee but now they support mccain
anyway, second round selected 2 more delegates
and one of them is RP
but 20 dropped out because they got 10% or less votes
out of the 20 (about 3,4 RP dropped out, i think they were on the ballot but didn't show up)
3rd round, we got 9 selected with 3 of them are RP
and i think the 4th round we got 1 more RP
they also asked for alternate and it's based on whoever gets up to the mic first
G: sheesh
C: we knew the game, so the remaining 4 of use got top alternate delegate spots
we got 13 out of 27 delegates to state, with 4 top alternates
G: is the delegate you are the alternate for, RP?
C: if any mccain ppl drop out, we will replace them
i am one of the top 4 alternate
G: i guess the alternates can be alternate to any of the primary delegates
C: hmm.. i am not sure
G: otherwise there would be equal numbers of primary and alterante
C: i think primary may come from delegate pool
G: so basically we're about even with mccain
C: not even close
some of the delegates are mitt and huckabee
G: oh
wow
how many mc
C: the way we play the game, mccain won't be majority
i don't know how many are mc
chairman, local running office ppl are all speaking the same tone
supporting mc
i hope that other districts are organized like us
someone print out list of names so you guys only vote for each other
you can get 50% or better with 6% of ppl
G: wow, cool
can you write that up, and if you don't want to send it out by email, i will, and place onto DP
C: have you heard anything from seattle group?
or the campaign
G: very quiet, almost nothing
C: they need to provide the list
hmm
G: <snip> is totally lame as far as i'm concerned, <snip> talks like <snip> going to share that info, never lifts a finger
C: i don't know gave us the names
we had 24 ppl on the list, <snip> printed them in font 10 or something
the list was small enough to fold and hide in my palm
some RP supporters printed it out on 8.5x11
but no one cares
G: Maybe I'll just copy our chat, change our names, and place on DP, what do you think
C: sure!
G: of course i'll have to edit <snip>'s name
ok, cool
C: correct my grammar, too
:-P
G: i sort of like it
adds authenticity too

Way to go!

Caveat

No reports have come in from any district meetings which Ron Paul supporters did not attend.

It's great we're getting great results in areas where we play the game. The trick is to play the game EVERYWHERE. We're leaving votes on the table in too many places. Make calls, car-pool, caravan and make it fun. Go!

Delegate update....

I wasn't there so I wasn't selected as a delegate......

Don't let this be you.

Run Ron Run!

Great News, It is happening all over the country

Join and become a precinct leader today, become a delegate and help take back your district, defend it: http://voters.ronpaul2008.com/

Same results in another Eastern Washington county

In our County Convention which happened yesterday, we got just under HALF known Ron Paul delegates to the State convention. On top of that, we also secured the first 3 or 4 alternate spots! I wrote some "tips" on how to get elected a state delegate on another site and will likely post it here soon too. We only had 12 known Paul supporters with a total of 65 attending and still managed to take almost half the delegates. You can all do this!

How did you manage?

Stealth? Organized? Luck? Where are the tips you promised...did you post them here or somewhere else?

Know other RP supporters in advance

Organize list of nominees who are RP supporters, only vote for these ppl on the ballot and no others.

Make friends and ask other people at the convention to vote for you.

I Need A List of Resolutions

I got a list from the campaign but did not print enought out.. It was 16 or so. Can someone give me a link.

Volunteer too!

First become a delegate, if not become a volunteer, let's pack the house!

What an encouragement!

It can be done! We're doing it! Sounds like McFly isn't going to have fun at the Convention!

I'll be in Washington D.C. June 21st as requested by Ron Paul

I'm going and will be carrying the following sign!

"Make D.C. into prison facility!"

Hey Robyne, which part of WA

Hey Robyne, which part of WA are you from?

Awesome!!

My Home State! I miss it up there.... Thanks for the post and the information!

SGP, this is dedicated to

SGP, this is dedicated to you, man! I can't believe it! Spokane sure seems to be full of intellectuals up there. I was born in Seattle and this makes me very, very happy! It's good that the MSM is ignoring our man, we'll just stay in and play the game and keep our cool. Thanks a lot Spokane!

29 stayed to the end

me: hey
Ci: hi
me: how many RP supporters showed up?
Ci: 29
me: wow
i am still amazed by round 1 result
Ci: the amazing thing is they stayed all day!
me: 8 out of 10 of selected
Ci: yeah, i'm not sure how we did that!
me: i am scratching my head.. this is statistically significant!
i mean this is more than average probability
maybe miracle, maybe God
Cin: it means we got a lot of other delegates voting for us because < snip > had 107
me: i can't explain the incredible outcome with mathematics
Ci: yes, i firmly believe in miracles!
and God is in this
me: < snip >, which district?
Ci: in ours
me: ohh
what was 107?
Ci: she was the highest vote getter in the first round with 107 votes for her
and there were only 29 of us!
me: wow
how did that happened
Ci: that's what i asked her!
me: haha
Ci: i got 91 for something on the first round
*or
me: i should have sat by any of you
Ci: i did know a lot of people there
from church, school and sports involvement with my kids
different community events etc
me: did they recognize your name
Ci: yes, and i went around introducing myself and reminding people i did know of my name
asking them to vote for me
me: excellent!
so now, i hope seattle districts are organized to do the same
Ci: i did pass out some of our little slate sheets to other people, so i know we had several conservative groups voting for us
me: because i haven't heard much from seattle groups lately. ppl need to be informed that we can win
you are the mastermind

this is why we can still win!!!!

These meetings are just the same way it will be at the convention.....

So many people will not want Mccain by then it will be amazing....(if he is still in the race)

I have been posting this

I have been posting this info for months and it is paying off now.

The delegates control everything people

FASCINATING! Thanks so much

FASCINATING! Thanks so much for the report!

This was one of 49 districts in Washington State

Other districts can emulate this
