And this came out tonight.
Blog: MSNBC to fire pundit Tucker Carlson

As usual
there is a lot of speculation about what makes a true Ron Paul supporter. Maybe Tucker is a good supporter, maybe he isn't. But maybe, just maybe, he's a lukewarm supporter who just happens to like Paul because Paul is so right on so many issues. There is no rule that says you have to agree with him on EVERY issue, or any one particular issue. His appeal, I think, is his very broad base of support. I meet a lot of people, and to be perfectly honest, I've only met ONE republican and/or conservative who can't stand Paul.

Stick to the issue!
Ron Paul is leaving it up to us folks! So put your energy behind the Revolution. We talk about not wanting government in charge, well Ron Paul is giving us a chance to demonstrate how this is done. Don't look to Ron Paul to do all the work, and just throwing money at the problem isn't going to work either!
Be in Washington on the 21st of June as requested by Ron Paul.
If you can't be a delegate, then volunteer at the convention, you will be able to influence undecided voters.

I think you guys are just confused and caught up in a shark-feeding frenzy.
Journalistic confidentiality is a long-standing tradition. It allows persons to approach the press with info that the People need to hear but the persons careers and possibly lives might be endangered.
Don't be so quick to take up pitchforks and torch to kill the "evil frankenstein" before they have their day in court. Some revolutions, like the French Revolution end in genocide, terror and more enslavement to tyranny.
In this particular case how in the hell does the public benefit from hearing that somebody from one campaign called a person in another campaign a "monster"? I've hung around campaigns off-and-on for several decades and you can hear MUCH worse walking into a typical campaign office.
My personal take on this is that the reporter is a Hillary supporter and possibly part of an effort to smear Obama and just a cheap shot below the belt. I despise Obama but calling Hillary a "monster" is no sin. It's true. I'm not interested in "National Enquirer" type gossip AT ALL.
Tucker never supported Ron Paul.....
Tucker was and is an agent for the power elite ( banksters & fortune 100 ceo's). Don't forget it was Tucker who set Ron Paul up with that idiot in Nevada and his whores. Tucker maybe your pimp friend can find you a job.

Hi Airborne :)
I like Tucker and to me it seemspretty obvious that he supports RP - he said it just last week! (because I watch him all the time) well, I guess that's past tense now.. regardless I have seen people comment similarly to you on this forum in the past, especially when the infamous "article" came out. I respectfully diagree with your summary of Tucker's original intent. I have read and re-read and re-read the original article he authored just to be sure I felt comfortable with the facts I drew my conclusions on. I get why some people at 1st glance would think it was a "slur" against RP, but I find it to be something alltogether different...it is a plea from him (Tucker) to get people - the general population - to understand that freedom to do whatever you want IE: victimless crimes are ok for people with personal liberty to engage in. Yes, there are going to be ramifications in your own life if you coose to do these things that may not be too pleasant. However the point Tucker was trying to make on behalf of RP is that it is not the Federal Governments obligation to interfere in those personal choices. Everyone was dissing him when the article came out, but that is not the point of the infamouse hooker /"whore" article.
Peace,
Betsy

Just because you supported
Just because you supported Ron Paul? I know you'll be back and much stronger. They have used you to publicly scare anyone else who would do the same. Standard procedure. Sorry you had to be the example to the cowards that remain in their lies. You've shown courage.
Taomaster
He was on MSNBC
This morning and was acting pretty confident. Wonder if he has read the news!!
I think Tucker Carlson is a bitch
And I'd tell him so to his face. He has no integrity, and this only illustrates that a bit more clearly. My assumption is that MSNBC will get a chimp they can train a bit better so that next time the truth won't come out at all.
Become a delegate. Get elected. Take our country back from the a$$holes.
Hmmmm
He is a STRONG Ron Paul supporter. He stated the other day ON AIR that he would write Ron Paul in if RP was not on the ballot. This may be why he is being fired. Why would you condemn a MSM Ron Paul supporter who DARED to speak out as much as he did???
Obama = O.ne B.ig A.ss M.istake A.merica
Agree 1 million times over

Here's what you think an honest RP supporter believes...
Straight from the horse's a$$...
Tucker Carlson: Right. But I mean, since journalistic standards in Great Britain are so much dramatically lower than they are here, it’s a little much being lectured on journalistic ethics by a reporter from the “Scotsman,” but I wonder if you could just explain what you think the effect is on the relationship between the press and the powerful. People don’t talk to you when you go out of your way to hurt them as you did in this piece. Don’t you think that hurts the rest of us in our effort to get to the truth from the principals in these campaigns?
Gerri Peev: If this is the first time that candid remarks have been published about what one campaign team thinks of the other candidate, then I would argue that your journalists aren’t doing a very good job of getting to the truth.
Now then. Mr. Carlson says it quite well right there himself. Putting the powerful on the spot and publishing their comments would prevent them from talking to the press who do so. Hmmm, he certainly sounds like the model of journalistic integrity to me there. Yessiree... /end sarcasm
So, if he believes in concealing the truth instead of reporting it, do you really think he supports Dr. Paul's positions?
Maybe he was trying to make a point by pointing out the obvious?
basically, saying the opposite of what he really means? Like US MSM sucks because we can't do what UK journalists do? He pointed that out on US MSM...think about that. Just a thought He is/was in a box so to speak ...hopefully with him not being the host of the show he will be able to come out of the closet so to speak and really voice his views? I have been watching his show since last August or so and it seems to me that he is always supporting RP - heck he said last week he was going to write him in to 2 dem pundits......can't believe he is not on our side.....
"To create a great evil you must pervert a great good"
What does Tucker have to
What does Tucker have to gain by stating he would write Ron Paul in, but not really mean it???
"But, indeed, no private person has a right to complain, by suit in court, on the ground of a breach of the Constitution. The Constitution it is true, is a compact, but he is not a party to it."
Exactly! wninja and nothing. I will miss Tucker
I think he is being made an example of. This sucks. I look forward to seeing what he does because he does have national noterity (sp?) hopefully he will be able to embrace RP's message full stop from now on. He is a very obvious supporter - I have been watching him for the last 9 months and it is very clear to me he is writing in RP and said so on MSM during his show........
Peace, Betsy

Wtf is he thinking.. christ..
So THAT'S WHY - he was bringing STRIPPERS to Ron Paul speechs....

Article
If you havent read Tuckers article "pimp my Ride" do so soon it is cool
Agree usavsus....some ppl can't get over the fact that it was
written about "whores" if I may quote directly. - not my words, I do not like that word- I disagree with those people's thoughts and know Tucker to be in RP's corner (because I read and understood the context of the article) and because I have been watching his show which I will most definately miss. People, please open your minds to accept the things RP says are due us all....freedom to live our lives as we see fit without interference from the totalitarian government....that is all the infamous article is about. That's it and that's all.
RP'ers are the most open intellectual supporters out there. I know we can see many sides to a story and don't take things at face value. That is my take. Sorry if u don't agree.
Besty :(
