PEOPLE KEEP SAYING RON PAUL QUIT THE RACE

I am really getting pissed at that statement.
Every time I hand out a DVD on Dr. Paul I get this statement. "I saw him the other night on CNN and he said he has quit the race for the nomination".

Is there a statement somewhere that I can print out for these poor misguided MSM dummies that will tell them unequivocally that Ron is still in the race.
Even if not in the "conventional sense"...........

Paul Sticks to Principles; Reporter Baffled

Ron Paul has been trying to educate these brats for more than a year and Roberts proves again that he’s been reading a comic book behind his desk lid.
A candidate who doesn't abandon his beliefs the minute the numbers start to look bad? Bless his perfectly-groomed little head, Roberts has never seen one before!

I love this man

Ron Paul rocked the interview. I never cease to be amazed by him. He is just so damn RIGHT. Where can I get that kind of innate intuition intelligence intuition wisdom mastery?

I love this dude

I really hope all those who are disenfranchised at the small odds of a Ron Paul presidency really come to understand that we must stand together and fight for what we believe in.

Look at the financial papers every day...
RON PAUL IS RIGHT

Look at the reports out of Iraq
RON PAUL IS RIGHT

Look at the reports from the ACLU and how civil liberties are threatened
RON PAUL IS RIGHT

So stand firm folks...we believed in the right man all along. Now its our turn to speak with one voice for what is right.

LONG LIVE RON PAUL

Ron Paul is a Tai-chi master

Don't under estimate this man. He just threw few punches at Mccain, Hillary and Obama. It won't hurt them right away, but hundred more few punches in 6 months might knock them out.

excuse me

'campaign is never over'
The 'campaign' is 'presidential campaign'?
The 'campaign' includes 'presidential campaign'?

He wins

Let's see...RP will not support McCain, he calls Obama a fake, he did not mention Hillary...so who will he vote for? Right, the same man I will vote for, even on a write-in. I love It... I plan to believe till the end of November...you want him in? Write him in.

he has not given up..........

Did you pay attention dude bro? This is to the last guy (trapp) who posted who said he is done. There is hope, there is a way, and said people deserve or have the right to vote for someone that is the conservative candidate. Hmmm, interesting.

Paul has given up trying to be president.

Good interview. Paul makes it explicit that he has given up trying to be president, and that him becoming president is not possible anymore. The campaign is no longer about that, but about getting a speaking spot at the convention and about spreading libertarian ideas.

Not so.

He simply will not pursue it in the conventional sense. He never told the smirking reporter (who is nothing but a pretty haircut) that he was quitting. Since Ron Paul will be our next President it would not make sense for him to say he is quitting the campaign.

That's not what he said

That's not how he used the word "conventional." He said that he can't win in the "conventional political sense," meaning he can't win the election. Winning in the conventional "political sense," means becoming president. But, he's not trying to win in the political sense, as a political victory is conventionally understood. He's trying to win in the ideological sense, which is the non-conventional political sense.

Conventional sense would

Conventional sense would have it that the candidate with the most delegates would be the nominee. As Jdayh mentioned, Lincoln won the nomination while starting with a very low delegate count (I believe it was around 10% of total delegates).

To win as a Republican or Democrat would also be the conventional way. Who knows... if RP doesn't get the Republican nomination he might go Independent or via another party.

There are many unconventional ways that he could win.

...

Abe Lincoln didn't win in the conventional sense, but he was our

Great interview...

Just more of the same common sense.

Thanks for posting, goldenequity

How can you help but love this guy? So principled, so true, so quintessentially American!

Ron Paul is our friend

Ron Paul is our friend in congress and as his friend we should do all we can to help him be elected president so we can end the war and end torture. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBCKMTo210k

Liberty is our campaigns gift to the world it is our manifest destiny.
Freedom is a movement who's time has come. Our campaign will lead world wide freedom.

Great Interview

He also pointed out that he's not running in order to gain a position of power over others. Can any other candidate say the same thing and mean it? I also love how he called out Obama on the war. Obama wants to increase the size of the military, and doesn't want to change our overall interventionist foreign policy. In short, he's more of the same.

Great quote.

ZING!
