CAN RON PAUL STILL WIN?
The answer to this question is a resounding YES and we DO have a plan to do this. The first thing that you must do is FORGET about our fraudulent voting system, this plan has NOTHING to do with the ballot box. Understand that Dr. Paul KNEW that he would be defrauded by the vote stealing machines. So now, that being said, in an electoral system that is totally rigged, what do we do?
Some have suggested that Dr. Paul accept the nomination of either the Constitution Party or the Libertarian Party. Others have suggested Ron Paul run as an independent. The hard core revolutionaries that are in this to WIN know that these are NOT options. We are realists and know that a third party or independent candidate has NO chance of winning. In order for us to win this election, the FIRST thing you have to do is give up these FUTILE desires.
The only way for Dr. Paul to have a chance in November is to become the nominee in one of the two major parties. To the layman, this now seems virtually impossible. However, to those of us that know the DELEGATE system, we know that it is not only POSSIBLE but is a virtual inevitability if we are able to WAKE UP Ron Paul's supporters and get just 10% of them to involved themselves in this process. We have a plan to UNBOUND the delegates in enough states to free up those delegates to vote for Dr. Paul at the convention.
If all you're going to do for Dr. Paul is vote and go to the march, then you might as well stay home. Dr. Paul's votes are not counted and the march will NOT be televised. Dr. Paul has stated that he is going all the way to the Republican Convention in St. Paul (interesting the city bears Dr. Paul's name for all you superstitious people out there). The reason is because he knows what his grassroots support has been working towards. Do YOU want to be a part of it? Let me explain how.
There is only ONE way for Dr. Paul to win the nomination. That way is for the votes to actually be counted. The delegates to every state convention are actually counted one by one. In some cases they stand up and are counted. In other cases the votes are on paper ballots and are hand counted in full public view. This is the ONLY part of the current political process that CAN NOT BE DEFRAUDED!
So, lets lay it out REALLY simple. How can YOU become a delegate? FIRST thing you need to do right NOW is to call your local county GOP, pay up your dues ($25/yr for me), and tell them that you want to become a delegate. Tell them that the reason you want to is because you don't want to see either Hillary or Obama as your president. The last thing you want to do is mention Dr. Paul. Be cordial, and ask also if there is any way you can help or volunteer. My last meetup group was VERY informative. It was explained to me that the GOP is just a SHELL of itself. The APATHY of the voting process in many states has taken it's toll on the Republican Party. What this means is that voter apathy, while once thought of as our biggest obstacle, is now our ACE IN THE HOLE my fellow revolutionaries! We can TAKE OVER the Republican Party, quite easily, and change the rules regarding bound delegates in our respective states (this is one of the policies that delegates vote on) and NOMINATE DR. PAUL at the Republican National Convention!
So those of you that are in a meetup group and HAVEN'T heard about this. Please let them know. If you aren't in a meetup group then JOIN ONE NOW! For example, in my local county GOP there are only 8 members. In my local meetup group we have 24 steadfast attendees every week! DO THE MATH. This is the case in MANY different states and counties. So stop thinking about what doesn't work and how corrupt the voting system is. Let's take this opportunity to SIEZE this ONE loophole in the totally RIGGED political process. But can he win the general election? I believe that he could win a majority of votes, but the question remains: does he have a chance to win the ELECTION?
As this article says, the voting system is fraudulent, employs vote-stealing machines and is totally rigged. That being the case, and considering the fact that the MSM is all on the side of the folks doing the fixing and rigging -- how do we move from winning the nomination to a victory at the rigged, fraudulent general elections?
I'm not saying that it's impossible -- I just want you to keep in mind that even if RP wins the Republican nomination, there is still BIG trouble ahead, and it's not too soon to start thinking about how to handle it. The delegate process is the weakness that the vote-fixers cannot evade in the party nominating process. But the general election in November -- as matters now stand -- will be conducted on electronic voting machines programmed god-knows-how by god-knows-whom. And tabulated god-knows-how by god-knows-whom. What can we do about THAT? Absent clear proof of voting fraud in at least one state, whence will come the impetus to change the system? Where is the weakness to which we can apply our crowbars?

Keep in Mind
IMHO, the real challenge for the General Election is TURNOUT. If my memory serves, less than 20% typically vote in the General. This leaves A LOT of upside possibility! So if we can increase the turnout by just 10% that could do it no?
What are the obsticles to upping the turnout (prioritized):
1. MSM blackout (or downplay... ex "he can't win", or "his ideas are kooky"
2. Uncaring public. If the "establishment" can just keep the country (economy, war) under control until the election, then the sheeple will continue to be apathetic.
3. Some unthinkable event.
What are the opportunities:
1. GRASSROOTS Support!!! (can't emphasize enough)
2. Young voters, who think it's cool to vote for RP (which it is ; )
3. Truth of our message.
4. Economic issues or threats of expanding war.
All of this, of course, assumes we will actually have an election in Nov.

Don't you remember that Al Gore won the popular vote by over 2 million votes but lost the election to Bush?
Once our delegates are in the system i will eduacte them also on the electrol process as well.

I wish you were right, but if the general election doesn't impanel the REPUBLICAN electors, then they won't be voting for Ron Paul in the Electoral College. Unless you have a plan to infiltrate the Democrat delegates?

This is important, that way we can bombard their meetup group etc.. with this strategy of "unbinding delegates " at the state level. This needs to be done NOW.
Even if we don't will, we will have presence. BE A DELEGATE!!!

I swear, I believe more than a few people here are in denial. You need to face the facts about where we are in the campaign, and you need to consider how your denial of the fact that RP won't win the presidential nomination effects the greater movement.
First, as Ron Paul said on CNN - its not about him winning, its more important than that. Our delegates will be at the convention, and will make a difference.
Right now in my district in PA there are 3 RP people running for delegate spots. We find ourselves questioning just how to help them get elected when there are some RP supporters acting like they are waiting for comet Hale bop to take them away to Nirvana. Fair or not, people judge candidates by their associates
-so stop the denial, it hurts the campaign. Stop acting like a bunch of scientologists.

Dude, we won't see the "reality" or "the fact" " that RP won't win" until they BECOME reality and fact -- which at this point in time, they have not. Maybe the delegate strategy will work. And even if we don't go into the convention with a clear majority of delegates, until the convention is OVER, there's still a chance, because delegates are human beings with independent judgment -- they can be persuaded to change their minds. Who knows how the unstable, corrupt and unhealthy McCain may implode between now and September? And who knows how our extremely precarious national economic situation may deteriorate between now and them -- and Ron Paul is the only candidate with the answers the country needs? So stop your puling; it's not over yet.

McCain will implode, no doubt. He just can't possibly stand up to the scrutiny of the general election. The Dems will eat him for lunch. The Repubs already have a tough battle after 8yrs of GWB, lots of people are going to vote Democrat simply because of this. Jesus Christ himself could run as a Republican and would have a hard time winning in this race, unless he was able to secure delegates to the convention without the Romans knowing.

You are the one in denial. For someone in the process, you seem awfully quick to admit defeat, and quick to deny facts. Why are you trying so hard to get RP people elected if you don't think it'll do any good? And even if what you claim does end up happening, and we don't win the nomination, it won't be because we didn't try...it'll be because people like you didn't try hard enough and gave up months too early. No one here is waiting for a 'magic comet', we are trying to educate and get delegates into the process, and your pessimistic outlook sucks all of the energy out of the room.

In a number of other threads. You have never addressed any of my arguments. Fact is, If you combine McCain's Pledged delegates, and the RNC delegates that are listed as unpledged (but will clearly go for McCain) he is over the top. If you add the Unpledged delegates that McCain has won, he is way over the top. Even if you convince over half not to vote for McCain - and just how are you going to convince all these unpledged delgates ?
The only one that believes you are you, your dupe accounts, and a sad few that are in painful denial.

He can not win the nomination
That's a fact you must accept. Our delegates can influence the party, and that is the goal.
Those people still acting as if there is a serious chance that RP might win the nomination are simply making it harder for the rest of us to influence the party.
RP will win his congressional seat, other RP republicans could win their elections, we could effect the platform regarding economic issues, and civil liberty issues.
BUT IF YOU ARE UNREALISTIC AND OUT OF TOUCH NO ONE WILL TAKE YOU SERIOUSLY. Numerous people from the campaign including Ron Paul himself have said that there is no real chance of winning the nomination, but it is not about someone wanting power, so we continue to influence as many people as possible.

In six months he will win the Republican nomination. In eight months Ron Paul will be the next President of the United States of America. No one from the campaign or Ron Paul has stated any word, sentence or phrase to the contrary.

There are no absolutes. Our delegates CAN and WILL influence the party, exactly as you described, and we will use that influence to fulfill the destiny of the NOMINATION OF DR. RON PAUL. No one here is unrealistic and out of touch. We are very much aware of the lopsided struggle we are facing, the immensly entrenched obstacles we are up against. But we are driven to purpose and cause. Pushing for this goal will cause everyone to take us very seriously...they will have no choice. So you go ahead and fight your fight, and let us fight ours...the goal is common, we just wish to see it go further than you do...don't hold that against us, and don't hold us up. Yes, get local RP Repubs into office as quick as you can, it will only help. But pushing for Ron Paul's nomination is key. It gets people into the process, and makes our numbers known.
Our goal will ultimately help your cause, and yours ours. Stop slamming people who are trying...

Is what I heard DR. Paul say. I found nothing negative about that. What I heard was that we are going to do it in a non-conventional way. It just wasn't said, it was implied.
