How are conventions going in all the States? In OK we have managed to take several national delegate seats and we still have several districts and the state convention yet to go. Les White, the Norman meet-up organizer has been like a Lion among the sheep getting RP supporters out to various conventions, taking delegate seats, getting RP resolutions on the platform, and getting neo-con resolution items voted off of the platform. If you are an RP supporter in OK; go to the OK rep party web site now and find out when your district convention is and when the state convention is and PLEASE show up. We are going to take back this county one district at a time, one county at a time, and one state at a time. When this party was born it only took us two attempts to get our Nominee elected. Fight to change your local platform, fight to get RP local candidates elected. Take back your local republican party from the neo-cons and then you will see that when the next election cycle comes around it will be Constitutional Republicans who are chairing all the committees and picking all the candidates!
I can’t begin to explain the thrill of victory you feel when these old guard neo-cons come up to you and are forced to admit that this movement is sustained and impressive. And when closet RP supporters tell you quietly that their colleagues are running scared at the neo-con meetings and that they have not a clue how to harness or control our energy it will dawn on you that we are changing the party and we WILL change the country. The last time Republicans had a movement like this we freed a people from slavery and degradation. Interesting how overcoming slavery is EXACTLY what has awoke the patriot in all of us once again. Freedom from debt slavery, freedom from tyranny of the majority, freedom from un-warranted surveillance of our private lives by the ruling class…
LET FREEDOM RING!
Don't forget that in many states if you can take over the party majority, you may be able to vote to unbind your delegates!
