I believe our FoRE Father's saw this comming....

As a last line of Defense we have a system of Delegates and Electoral Votes that are designed to protect against voter Fraud. The system is not perfect, but perhaps requires people like ourselves to be engaged in the process to be effective. Thanks to Ron Paul, WE ARE ENGAGED.

The Convention will be the crossroads and the litmus test in how effective this firewall really is.

OFF Topic: I propose a Constitutional Amendment requiring Paper Ballads for ALL elections for public office. Computer Programs are only as good as the programmer, and progrmamers ALWAYS create a back door so that they can make changes to the program as needed--a must when debugging the software. They may say the back door has been welded shut, but only the programmer knows for sure, and unless you know HIS code there is no way to know for sure.

this is the problem that

keeps haunting me...

let's just suppose we do overthrow the convention and king ron paul as our nominee...

And we all know that the powers that be want hillary in the white house...

So if it comes down to a hillary vs. ron paul in the general election...Can't they just rig it again...just like the primaries for hillary?

they did it for GB in florida and ohio...I don't want to seem hopeless...but what's to stop them?

Here's the answer...

I think..

The electoral college system, like the national convention, is an indirect element in the process of electing the president. The Constitution does not require the electors to vote as pledged, but many states have enacted laws that do require their electors to vote as pledged.[1]

The original mechanics of presidential elections were established by Article II, Section 1, Clause 3 of the United States Constitution. The Twelfth Amendment revised those mechanics, requiring that each elector vote separately for President and Vice President. Today, the mechanics of the Presidential election are administered by the National Archives and Records Administration via its Office of the Federal Register.

Hillary vs Ron Paul

Fortune Favors the Bold

Would be good versus evil.

They COULD NOT ignore Ron if he was the republican nominee. No matter how muh fraud they tried, Hillary could not stop the tide.

Fortune Favors the Bold

Ron Paul called Obama a "fraud" today.

I'm sure he has some choice words for the Clinton crime family.

We found a way in the Delegate system

to have shot at the nomination, perhaps there is a way in the electoral system as well. Also, I believe if Ron does win, it will send such a shockwave of disbelief that perhaps the doubters will stop doubting and lend a hand to monitor the exit polls of the elections.

How many Straw polls did Ron win? I believe the straw polls were more trust worthy.

We will cross that bridge when we get there--for now we need to focus on the task at hand.

Don't worry...

I believe the sheep graze in large numbers in a primary election because it's easy to just show up and vote. It takes more work in a caucus, so the more devout show up for that. The sheep will not be showing up to be elected delegates for McCain. That's my 2 cents.

i do beleve..

you're right..and we're just pissed off enough to do it!

Do the Math!

Why is everybody so confused about what is happening? Our numbers are not large enough to win. Sure we have the best message but it's not the message most of America wants to hear. Not yet anyway. Things just aren't bad enough. Maybe in another 4 years a campaign like Dr Paul's will have a chance. But what do I know, I'm just a troll.

If it's meant to be it's up to WE!

who cares?

in my precinct, where i was captain, they replaced two out of three diebold machines on super tuesday late on election day due to "malfunction." The diebold officials assured the precinct chair the votes would nonetheless be recorded properly. He took him at his word. Forget about the magic boxes (both the one you vote with and the one that tells you what those votes were) worry about the REAL election, i.e., the delegates. We're doing great there.

It would help if

Dr. Paul actually campaigned in these states. Why isn't Paul campaigning? Sure, I think some funky business is going on with the vote counting, but I don't understand why Paul isn't fighting harder. It's time that Ron Paul actually visits these states ahead of the primaries. I just do not get this campaign's strategy.

It will be justified

In the end.

Stop the NWO....It's just illumi..Naughty !

That's how I understand it.

That's how I understand it. At the state level, the delegates can put forth a motion to unbind themselves and then vote on it. Hopefully, Dr. Steve can chime in and clarify and/or elaborate.

Paging

Dr. Steve....

Coincidences?

- Huckabee, Giuliani, Romney, and Thompson drop out, but Ron Paul puts up the same numbers head to head with McCain (MS) as he did in a six way race (IA).

- 77 of the 82 counties in Mississippi use the Premier (Diebold) TSx direct-recording electronic touch screen as the only voting system in the polling place.

Coincidences? Only Diebold knows.

That's actually a very good

That's actually a very good point about the same numbers.

The other point...

Is that Ron Paul keeps the same percentage from first voting report to final report... I dabble in statistics and that's not exactly feasable.

Not a huge jump-up-and-down conspiracy theorist as far as voting fraud goes, although it's quite possible technically.

You would think that if they were indeed tampering with the vote they would at least let the percentage fluctuate enough so that some people would not have an epiphany.

Is it being flaunted in front of our faces then?

Diebold's magical number seems to be....

4%. Anyone else notice how many times 4% has been Dr. Paul's final percentage. He had better numbers when there were 7 candidates in the race.

Kinda what I was thinking as well

But hey... I'll convince one person about it tomorrow. One soul at a time... ;)

Like

Like ive said before. I have YET to meet ONE actual real life person that says they support John McCain. Where the hell do you people hide!!

I know..

In my county alone, they indicated that 28,000 people voted for McCain, 21,000 or so for Huckabee and about 1,000 for Ron Paul...I have yet to meet anyone who wants or has voted for McCain either, Why would they vote anyway, if they think that he's got the nomination?!

That's what I don't get. We

That's what I don't get. We Ron Paul supporters have proven that we're voting for our candidate regardless of whether or not he's going to win, but I can't imagine McCain voters being all that motivated to vote for him at this point.

Maybe it's the fact that they're trying to vote for the winner and now that that it looks like he can't lose, they'll vote because they'll know they're voting for a winner and therefore won't be wasting their vote.

Boy I hope no one actually uses that logic to motivate them to vote... it hurt me just typing it out.

McCain does not have the support here....

I've been listening to local state politcial radio here in MS for the past few weeks and believe me... McShame does not have the support. All anyone does is whine about not having "a real conservative to vote for."

Here's a link to listen for local MS perspective tomorrow morning. Listen between 6:00AM - 8:00AM CST and 10:00AM - 1:00PM CST

McCain doesn't have the

McCain doesn't have the support ANYWHERE.

This is a fact that simply cannot be denied by anyone who is politically active. There is definitely something fishy going on here.

Don't worry, be happy now!

MS patriots will be invigorated and attend and get elected as delegates just as the Texas patriots did. The task now is to get RP supporters sign up for delegastes in EVERY precinct.

Mississippi Delegates

Are "bound" to whatever the majority of GOP voters in the state voted for. Not for just 1 vote, not for just two votes, not for just three votes....

THEY ARE BOUND.... :0(

So....

just wondering, what if someone becomes a Delegate for McCain and then decides not to go to the convention? Would one less vote for McCain be like a vote for the good Dr.... just wondering

This is why there are alternates

If MS sends 33 delegates, then they also send 33 alternates to fill in for delegates who don't show, who step out to use the bathroom or to grab a beer, or whatever. There are plenty of alternates to take the place of one or two who don't show.

RP2012!

But I thought that

Delegates could change the rules if they wanted to?

Dr. Steve? Is that right or not?

*sigh*

who knows?! All I know is it seems that the tallys stay with the exact (or almost exact) percentage from the reporting of the first 100 votes all the way until 100% have reported. That alone has frustrated me an awful lot.

Chin up! And thank you so much for all you've done and are doing! You're a true patriot!
