Tennessee Delegates
I am sure this statement has to be incorrect. There surely has to be some Dr. Paul delegates in Tennessee!
AP NewsBreak: White separatist ran as Ron Paul delegate in Tenn.
03/12/2008
By ERIK SCHELZIG / Associated Press
"A self-described white nationalist earned nearly 12,000 votes in Tennessee last month as a candidate to represent Ron Paul at the Republican National Convention.
Will Williams, who told The Associated Press he's "pro-white," was an early organizer for the Texas congressman's campaign in northeast Tennessee.
Williams, of Mountain City, said he had no direct contact with Paul about his views before he was approved by the campaign to join the slate of 21 statewide candidates to be convention delegates.
A campaign spokesman says officials didn't know of Williams' beliefs and that Paul wants nothing to do with him.
Paul came in fourth in Tennessee, and none of his state delegates will be seated at the convention in September.

Everyone on
the list were able to be voted in. I have never seen the totals as to who actually would have been a delegate. They said because Ron Paul only got 5% of the vote he didn't pick up any delegates, therefore none of us are going to the convention unless we were voted in by the Republican party here in Tennessee, they had a meeting in Nashville on March the first. They had to ask everyone who was on the ballot first, but I do not know what criteria they used to vote you in. I was always under the assumption that if you received enough votes you were automatically going to the convention regardless of how your candidate did. Apparently that is not the case. This was not spelled out in their rules on how to become a delegate.
They are probably lying

Agreed Games afoot
I to was a delegate applicant , After the verifacation process was over i recieved word that i did not have enough signatures . I had 133 and they verified only 99 ,,,need 100. I had 27 miltary from Clarksville and Montgomery county did not verify a single one.
If voting could really change things,
it would be illegal. Here is hoping for change!
I was one of those
delegates on the ballot and no there will be nobody from Tennessee for Ron Paul unless they were accepted later on. The Republican party contacted some of the delegates to see if they wanted to be for John McCain or Huckabee and several of us sent back that we would. They voted on March 1st, and I haven't heard back, so I am taking that as I didn't make it. I haven't heard if any of us on the list did.
Didn't The people vote for deligates
What does being accepted mean? Do you know how many from the list were voted for by the people . And why would the republican party be able to disenfranchise a popular vote deligate ?

So, Tennessee has already
So, Tennessee has already chosen their delegates for the National Convention?

Well
I don't agree with those beliefs, but then I don't believe in the beliefs of more then half the country. I don't agree with porn, or drugs, or many other things. It all comes down to "so what." Personally, racist and Libertarian views are polar opposites so in a way I find this hard to believe.

Why Tennessee? Let's See Where This Goes.
This is a post with no comment. That's okay. I cannot believe that the people in my state are that stupid. If I have to do everything myself, why don't I run for President?
What are you saying enlightened one?
