AFL - CIO attacking McCain -- this is really GOOD! LINKS UPDATED!
Okay, folks, here we have the perfect opportunity to promote Ron Paul to the multitude of supporters and members of the A.F.L. - C.I.O. Check this all out!
#1 -- First, this link for an article in the New York Times!
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/13/us/politics/p13union.html?...
The A.F.L. - C.I.O. is promising to be after McCain like a tick on a hound dog! They are going to have activists at his appearances and really cause him even more headaches than he already has.
#2 - Then, go to this link from the A.F.L. - C.I.O web site -- this is all about the specific issues they have with McCain.

#3 -- And then, finally, go to this last link, click on "Candidates", then, naturally, on Ron Paul -- if you look at comments from their subscribers, they are generally very favorable.
I think we should all post comments on Ron Paul -- this is a great opportunity to get their readers to hear the pro's of Dr. Paul as opposed to the con's (literally!) of McCain.
Anyone else have any ideas as to how to get Ron Paul looked at more closely by this powerful group?

I don't mean to be rude,
but the people on this site are venomous communists, who obviously despise RP for stepping over the writers picket line for his appearance on MSM.
Besides that, apparently of some of RP activists have been posting some venom themselves.
Why cannot people approach an audience, especially like this (AFL-CIO), with tact?
"Remember, educate the ignorant. Don't yell at them"
Huh?
First of all, I scanned quickly through some of the posts they have for all of the candidates, including Ron Paul. I honestly only saw one that was not complimentary -- the rest were really well written, thoughtful and very beneficial to giving the AFL-CIO members a positive view of Dr. Paul.
Didn't see any "venom" from any "RP activists".
And lastly, no one is saying not to be tactful! I just think this is a great opportunity to get some good information in front of these members -- in light of their disillusionment with McCain, I think positive comparisons of RP could be very beneficial. the AFL-CIO is a pretty darn powerful group of people!
Just let's get busy and put some good stuff on their site -- they obviously want AND need a new candidate to believe in!
Bumping myself!
I'm trying to keep this bumped up so we can get active and post on the AFL-CIO web site -- also, go to your state pages, and check out the blogs and forums there. All places ripe to "teach" the AFL-CIO about the good Doctor!
Updated links on this post!
By the way, no idea what happened to the links I originally posted -- they DID work before, but suddenly did NOT work again. I have corrected them and the ones in this post SHOULD work for you.
