Hotels Booking Fast For Convention .. hold now

Hi I just called to res a hotel for convention and I found one at a holiday inn express 20 minutes away
I would suggest whoever is going in Sept to put a res on hold - all the big hotels are sold out . wow this far in advance
a few rooms left here
I will make a some more calls and post back here any I find avail

But for the love of God
do NOT scream "WOOOOHOOOO RON PAUL IS GOING TO WHOOPASS!!!" at whoever is taking reservations- you will suddenly find THAT hotel "booked" - if they ask if youre there for the convention and who are you voting for, fake a knock at the door, come back to the phone and say "ok...ready for my credit card number?"
Plan ahead and be prepared that's the way to win!

check out their light rail
you dont need a hotel downtown...just somewhere close to their light rail. something close to the mall of america would be ideal. there are still hotels with availability in the area, and you can take the train downtown. i reserved my room and there is no penalty if you cancel 24 hours ahead of time.

and i booked the super 8 for the reasonable price of 129 nightly. its between the airport and mall of america, and the hotel has a free shuttle to mall of america. its not the Ritz but other places are filling fast!
