Ron Paul shold take an international trip.

I think he would get international press coverage. His message is for the world... if Americans do not want Liberty maybe some other people want it.

Dr. Paul should jet to Tehran with a handful of flowers and say: "I want peace and will deliver it if I'm elected." Think that would get any attention?

I think the foreign media would swamp him because he brings people together... Ron Paul could work this out through his international meetups... But most important it is about Liberty (which is for everyone not just Americans)

PS: Don't forget about the Troops serving overseas... this would make the media

That I am not the only one with good ideas. :) Ron Paul has a fully functioning brain and is very aware of the big wide world out there and is totally capable of deciding what trips to make. I'm sure he would be a very, very welcome guest around the world because they would know he was not there to negotiate with them to take their sovereignty. On the other hand, they would also know he was not there to play Santa Clause with our tax money. Judging by our own government, that would probably mean that the people would love him and the government elites would ignore him.

Like a McCain-wannabe

McCain announced his international travel this week. He's leaving, soon.

I imagined his campaign manager was wondering what he could do to make McCain more popular at home, and this is what he came up with: leave the country.

It would be interesting to see what kind of crowds Ron Paul could draw, but I don't see the benefit. He doesn't have the press traveling with him the way McCain does. Much better to spend his precious time between his Congressional votes, here.

That would be great for the movement. Europeans seem to like his views. The free international media seem to give deeper, better coverage of issues.

a good international venue for democracy/freedom would be good. he could be a guest speaker.

if a head of state was involved, even better....

Have you read the comments where people complain about not getting a response from HQ?

I know I've complained often enough that my donations should have to be spent of answering spam like is called for here.

Once the Americans see how much Ron Paul and the message of Freedom are loved and revered around the world, especially Europe, they might just decide that Dr. Paul is credible. Sad but true.

the well of liberty

I like the idea. I don't know if it is at all "feasible," but it would be something to look into.

Ron Paul's message of peace and individual liberty is a universal message that unites humanity. Perhaps Dr. Paul could demonstrate just how thirsty the people of the rest of the world are for a drink from the well of liberty that our Creator has given to us that authoritarian governments such as our empire can only detract from.
