We ask all RP supporters to help by contributing the first $2000 towards the logo and graphic work to brand the organization and to anchor the educational/organizational website. Once that money is raised mainstream marketing can begin, we will interview on multiple radio shows and our national press releases will begin to go out. In addition the new website, www.FreedomsGround.org can move into the next stage of development with organizational imagery in place.

Once www.FreedomsGround.org is launched www.RonPaulAmbassadors.com will then be updated as a way to view Congressman Ron Paul's Bill's presented before the House and to encourage people to contact their Congressman and Media to present those bills. By en masse contact we can show his peeers just how big a following he has. Remember there is strength in numbers. It will basically be a Grassroots Site, Independent of Ron Paul to help all those who support him help in the best way by backing his voice and to spread word of his Bills and to garner support for them. Together we can Build a foundation on the Constitutional Bedrock given us by our Founding Fathers to bring back those Freedoms that have been promised to us!

Right now the PayPal account
Right now the PayPal account that the chip ins go to is a personal account. Paypal has a tendency to shut down personal accounts when their balance goes over $5,000 so please don't give more than $3,300 through PayPal until we transition over to our Business Merchant account in a week or so :-). All monies that are received via PayPal are going to pay only for those things expressly stated next to the chip-ins.
We are now incorporated in the state of PA and are opening a bank account for Freedom's Ground, Inc. We are setting up shop as a 501 (c)(4) not-for-profit so donations are unlimited, do not count towards your campaign contributions and your name and contact information will not need to be reported to the IRS or FEC.

I want to know what Dr. Paul had in mind in his update speech of a couple of weeks ago. As I recall, he said that he would get behind (or start) a new organization to lead the revolution.

I have been in some communication with Rand and right now it looks like Ron is just doing further promotion on an organization that has been around for 30 years and working with Liberty PAC. Their initiatives, while good are different than ours. I do need to give them a call because there is a chance that Dr. Paul will sign on as a consulting "policy expert" for our organization.

But he also said it is up to us to take things upon ourselves. Hence Ron Paul Ambassadors Website and the launch of a new organization, Freedom's Ground. Which will be non-partisan, non-sectarian way to spread the Message of Freedom.

Definitely not a phisher. But you have a right to feel however you want. I will keep finding ways to spread the message and promote the Freedom Message in anyway I can. Believe me Freedom's Ground is just awaiting a great logo. Then it will be in full swing. I have given too much to ever give up.

Sorry that our information and requests are annoying to you but this isn't a "scheme" and many members of other grassroots initiatives are signing onto our Advisory Committee, Barry Goldwater Jr. is a member of our Founding Board and we have consulted with Rand Paul on a couple occasions now. We are serious and plan to be around for a very long time and not just come and go in an election cycle. If we accomplish even a small portion of what we are setting out to accomplish hundreds of thousands of Americans will have their imaginations captured and be educated as to why they personally need and would benefit from a Constitution based government, sound currency, return and defense of their personal liberties, a foreign policy characterized by free trade and open communication, etc...

This is a logical well though out plan to dpread the freedom message. Plus then Ron Paul Ambassadors could really help promote his Bills in Congress. And Freedom's Ground could move forward informing people and attracting people without carry a party banner. Lots of work has been contributed and things are already in the works. Once the logo is funded things will really get going.

A Non-partisan approach to spreading the message would be key I hope that others can help 2k is not a lot and once we can get that we can start really promoting the new Organization as the logo will then be done and the Website up. Not to mention getting www.ronpaulambassadors.com promoting RP's HR bills would be nice as well. Many great contacts were developed from the Blimp Project and will be ready to get the PR out there for Freedom's Ground. Hopefully we can get the Logo this week.

Make sure to donate to the Logo/Website Fund the chipin on the bottom of the page as once a Logo is designed we will be able to spread word easier. The FEC Legal ChipIn can be done after we get the Logo and then the Site up and running. I thank those who have donated and hope to see Freedom's Ground up and running soon.

I applaud efforts to keep the message rolling. However, if you believe that getting a logo is going to improve the ease of getting the message out, it makes me very skeptical of your ability to see the big picture. I do wish you luck.
I would like to remind people who are not maxed out that the CAMPAIGN still needs money. I live in a state where the primary is yet to be held. If folks would help national help us, we can still take a state by popluar vote for Ron Paul.

The logo and organizational
The logo and organizational illustration will be beautiful and symbolic and may well pique some people's interest or capture their imagination. The main selling point of the logo and organizational illustration is that they will give us the appearance we need for complete neophytes to the message and our organization to take us more seriously and thus give us a little time to try and win them over to the message. The professional appearance will also help us draw more people in as members and thus grow the organization and our financial support base.
As to the message...it is our job to take the attention that our visuals and website garner and seize the moment by quickly presenting people with relevant, easily digestible initial information and then leading them into more difficult and complex information but all at a controlled pace so we don't overwhelm anyone and they have a positive learning experience.

I got burned by one of these enterprises that was built around Ron Paul, so I'm going to pass on this until I see it's up and running for a good long time.

I understand too. We aren't built around Ron Paul even though he certainly gave us a big push to get going. Our staging website is a domain I own called www.RonPaulAmbassadors.com but the organization is going to be Freedom's Ground and will be non-partisan and non-sectarian and we are already approaching people from many parts of the political spectrum that support the ideas that our organization seeks to promote. We want to be universal, cast a very wide net and bring many new people in.

I understand your hesitation
You can at least sign up at www.ronpaulambassadors.com for updates. All we ask is for your email. Katherine Memole is the one behind her she was with the Blimp Team. She has worked hard and many good things are in the works. Once we have the logo we can then send out Professional Postcards Promotional stuff. The logo is critical and being done by a professional Marketing Company. Also the website will then be worked on. Ron Paul ambassadors then will be updated for the cause listed above. And Freedom's Ground will then be in full swing as well.
Good Cause
We raised 6 million in one day. These are the kind of projects that deserve money.
But we are supposed to be capitalists. If you do not have the money to start these things take out a loan or find a rich friend.
Do not let it stop you if no one gives.
I feel as though there should be an organization that raises funds just for all these individual projects. We could give this organization a few million and let them check into peoples plans and approve funding for it.

Can't we find some volunteers who know Illustrator? For something that might take 2 or 3 days for a creative person, why can't we hold a contest on the forum, vs paying someone to do it?

We would so love to find talented artists and illustrators. To be honest we haven't seen any artwork in the revolution so far that is of the caliber that we need for our logo and organizational illustration. The Ron Paul poster made out of supporter's photos was very nice but not the right kind of thing for this.
We were originally considering having a logo contest but really doubted based on what we've seen that any of them would meet our needs and didn't know how we could hold a contest and then not accept any of the submissions as our logo.
To put it bluntly we want our organization to be represented by visuals and graphics/illustrations that wouldn't look out of place on materials for companies like Starbucks, Abercrombie and Fitch, Mtv, Apple, Volkswagen, etc... That is why at the current time we plan to have www.mottoagency.com do the logo and graphic work for our organization.
After looking over your post we came up with a new idea...we'll have a contest to design some t-shirts for our upcoming webathon fundraiser. Keep your eyes peeled for more details.

Several times in the last
Several times in the last month I have put up posts looking for talented graphic designers and artists and before that I tracked threads where other people were looking for graphic design volunteers and very few people have come forward and the few that did really were not doing high quality work. Our logo and organizational illustration will be our ambassadors to the world and with us for many years and are going to show up at the end of television commercials, on educational materials, postcards, apparel, and more. They must make a really good first impression. After unsuccessfully looking for volunteers for over a month I decided to hire professionals and get our logo and illustration done properly. Preliminary concepts have already been reviewed and decided on.
Going forward we hope to assemble a group of volunteers who can create the images we need for our educational campaigns, graphic postcards, cartoons, television commercials and more.
Ultimately money invested in a logo and illustration are a good investment because high quality graphics will make us appear more professional and credible. This image will attract high profile advisors and celebrities and will bring more people to our website and into the organization. This in turn will give us a much wider financial support base for the organization in addition to the strong membership numbers and will allow us to launch more educational initiatives and reach more people.
