They say it's for disasters and terrorists. I say its for dissenters and rebels. It's easier to convince foreign troops to fire on your civilians than their own countrymen.

they are fools. The US military would be fighting itself, and i'm betting the majority would side with the USA over the NAU. They are sworn to uphold the constitution of the United States.

Canadians are not that stupid

they would revolt ( even military ) if asked to kill or detain americans or canadians in the event of a civil action.I know many of them and they think this is a complete joke knowing what bush is planning. Canadians are only playing along to keep the states from being stupid about it. Wehn something actually happens the states will be on there own.

we Canadians don't like the way this is going one bit

and it has not been in the news.

Still we have benefitted over the years from a broader media base than available south of the border and like to imagine we are independent thinkers.

Our government has been falling in lock step with Washington over the NWO issue and trying to keep us in the dark.Still there is widespread discord (even) about the role of our highly respected troops in Afghanistan despite our major parties acquiesing to a longer stay. The push is on to get us out of the combat role and the US gets it.

My father was (RIP) a highly decorated Canadian officer, I lived an breathed the military when I was growing up, and I can't imagine our forces killing civilians.
IF this plan is going to work at all for TPTB there is going to have to be something REALLY big on the horizon. But finding and buying those new fanzy shamzy all purpose gas masks with the necessary protective body cream is probably a good idea.

British troops are training in Kansas right now. So, looks like when Bush calls martial law they'll have enough troops to take over a country full of women and children. Our guys will all be stuck in the Middle East.

I think realistically after Katrina mess ups that they may need the assistance of others.

I understand what you are saying but this move would have logic to me either way.
