OKAY, NOW JUST A DARN TOOTIN' MINUTE, HERE!!
Apologies for yelling, BUT -- not even an hour ago, I posted a topic entitled, "Disappearing Act", asking if anyone knew what happened to Dr. Steve Parent's post entitled, "If you're not going to help me keep this up..."
I noticed that Dr. Parent's post (and all its tons of comments) had disappeared. So I posted a topic asking if anyone knew what had happened to the post, and/or if anyone had that info still handy. There were about three replies (one of which was mine) to my post when I last checked. Others were also curious as to what had become of that valuable post.
Now, I just went to check whether anyone else had responded to my post entitled "Disappearing Act", and I discover that -- huh?!? -- my own post is suddenly 404 (e.g., GONE).
Disappearing Act, indeed! How long before THIS post disappears?
Is the whole Delegate Discussion now supposed to be "RP Classified" or something?? Are we "showing our hand" by discussing such matters here, and that is why these are disappearing? Is this an inside censure in attempts to keep our activities hush-hush? Or, is it subterfuge from an outside source? Or...or, fer cryin' out loud, just...what is the deal??

I won't bother with all the details since I have already posted them twice, to no avail, but seriously...I have been in contact with someone at HQ and there is no *secret millionaire* they are working with and they have never heard of someone called Dr. Steve Parent.
I have reason to believe that whoever this person is has a ton of alts here (OneVoiceofReason, Old Cohoctah, Truthy just for the obvious ones, I am sure there are more people in this guys brain arsenal) so just be reasonable about buying into people's hype. If it sounds too good to be true it most likely is.

makes me not want to be very nice. I'm usually a very nice person, but I find myself getting more than a little peaved at his / her / constant derogatory comments. I thought that this forum was for Ron Paul SUPPORTERS.

I don't think that reform
is an option for antagonistic, suppressive people like that. I'm trying to figure out what I can learn from this person, but the lesson isn't coming to me. I know there must be one, because there's a lesson in everything. I just haven't figured it out yet.

Thanks, lpviper. Sheesh, I'm just trying to find information that was lost / disappeared / whatever. Whether posts disappear because of "good" reasons (keeping our plans more discreet) or "bad" reasons ("tinfoil" explanations, as some may say) -- whatever the cause, it is undoubtedly strange for a non-threatening post to be 86ed (or 404ed, as the case may be).
My alert wasn't a cry of, "The alien whales from the underground mines of Jupiter are invading our auras!" (or, insert your favorite tinfoil phrase there, if you wish.) It was merely: "Say; why are posts disappearing?"
Note my comment below, "On the Q.T., then?" -- if we're supposed to be quiet about plans, fine; no problem. I'd just like the info SGP had posted.
