Minutes ago the Federal Reserve Bank made the unprecedented move of cutting a key lending rate by a 1/4 point on a weekend and just two days before its next interest rate decision was to be announced. Are things so bad they couldn’t wait until Tuesday? What’s going on here?
Apparently this was a weak attempt to cover for the fact that the 5th largest investment bank in the world, Bear Stearns, was just bought out by JP Morgan for the rock bottom price of $2.00 per share.
Gold has skyrocketed by $22, the dollar is in a vertical freefall against all major currencies and Dow futures are trading down 190 points. Markets in Asia have just opened and are down 3% at the open.
The Global Financial Meltdown is unfolding now.

Please don't say NOW!! in your posts without saying what time and in what time zone. Why? Because when hundreds or potentially thousands of people stumble onto this post long after the event has passed they will waste their precious time looking for the broadcast.
