OK my post is being attacked and let me clarify why we are endorsing Tim Carns. Tim is not a Ron Paul republican in the conventional sense and I have edited that out of my post. He is a interested in a Constitutional government and is on the right track. We have found out of the 3 candidates running he is the only one who is not afraid to speak out against the CFR, the Fed, and the secret societies that dominate the elitist agenda. He has a way to go on his stance on the war and on Israel, but as a group we feel we can begin to teach him the truth on our foreign policy. He is against the number of troops around the globe. We as a group have voted unanimously that although he is not 100% in our court he is a great start and a true chance to get our country back on track. We are going to stand behind our decision because the passion and veracious attitude he has will be a powerful ear and voice to wield in the Senate. We have checked every possible candidate and feel we can begin the baby steps necessary to return our government to the roots of our founding fathers.
Our group plans on being a powerful force to be reckoned with and we will continuously remind Tim of why he is there and who helped to get him there.

Last night our newly formed group www.citizensawarenessgroup.com met with a potential candidate running for Senate. (Two weeks ago we met with another.) After a two hour question and answer session we have found our Republican!
His name is Tim Carnes and he is amazing. He is a very strong speaker, understands the direction we are headed an is determined to get us back to the Constitution. Because of what he is up against, and the fact that he is a grassroots candidate he needs everyones help.
He has already been treated poorly by the GOP, much like Ron Paul.
Our organization is going to press release our endorsement and get him on our web-site but I wanted to start here on DP and ask that all of you help.
The goal by the end of the month is $10,000 to get on the ballot and we don't have 2 weeks. There are almost 500 Daily Paulers on the site right now, if each one would donate $10 we will be half way there.
He is going up against Buddy Witherspoon who is a Freemason and is the chosen nominee. He is more of the same.
I ask you to help me keep this bumped for all to see so we can get Tim Carnes on the ballot and our group and the SC grassroots are going to work very hard to ensure a victory!

IS managed trade. Ron Paul is saying real Free trade is Fair trade--no restrictions. I have worked on trade issues such as NAFTA, and these so-called Free Trade agreements give an advantage to our trading partners, and is damaging to U.S. small businesses. The corporate business can outsource and USE the unfair provisions in NAFTA.
He explained to our group that
the fair tax will only work if certain guidelines were met, and he would only vote for it if those guidelines were put in place.
1) Abolish the income tax
2) Set a limitation that the tax cannot exceed
There were two others I can't remember right now.
He said the fair tax won't be fair we don't do it right, but he could stand behind it if it is. He prefers no tax, but he is aware we have to take baby steps in our fight, that we can't overhaul the system over night.

there is a Dr. Buddy Whiterspoon that is running, he does not favor a troop withdrawal, but read he is endorsed/supported by Pat Buchanan... Carnes does not look so "professional" and if he has been treated poorly by the GOP, what chance does he have in getting the nomination. Get a Murray Sabrin type candidate, if you cannot find someone in the current GOP establishment, get someone with a lot to offer, charismatic, intelligent and very professional looking that can gain the trust of the whole GOP and also Independents, while close to Ron Paul, though perhaps he or she may not advertise. Thus not an ordinary type person like Huckabee, but someone that can take attention and a formidable competitor for Graham.
In Conclusion...
I dont have time to reveal the lies this man is running for office on, claiming to be a Ron Paul man (I have a chemistry test tomorrow and I will most likely fail if I dont leave now). Read his issues, this guy is as worthless as you can get and trying to get the support of the Ron Paul people is pathetic.
I call out for all the respectable Ron Paul supporters on this site to post here and not let this guy trick our people into supporting his run for senate!

Fourth Issue, I might be wrong on this one.
On Abortion he says:

I believe this is unconstitutional right? Anyone experts here? Remember what the good Doctor said, that it is up to each state to decide on their own, its not for the federal government to decide.

His stance on our liberty and constitution (which he has not obviously read):

What is fair about replacing an illegal, unconstitutional, unnecessary income tax with a flat tax?
