Good Interview. What the
Good Interview. What the Doctor needs to say when the "Low Poll" thing is brought up is the fact of the straw polls and his 1st place wins. If they try to discredit those polls, then they discredit the media polls.. simple, effective, the truth..

About the polls
It just does'nt seem right. How can Huckabee be at seven percent, but Ron, with all his supporters and money is eternally stuck at two f*cking percent! I have mixed feelings, on the one hand I don't see how so many polls can be wrong. Then again I see the media and power elite doing everything to push Huckabee as the only alternative. And anybody who's viewed the Penn & Teller piece knows that Luntz and company can get whatever results they want. I can't take it, I need a break. I'm not following the campaign again until after Leno next week!
What an absolutely great interview!
I urge everyone to listen to it if you haven't already. It will make your day.
I knew it! Yazoo!
I knew Nora would get blowback, or at least a lesson in terminology, for her assertion that Ron was an 'isolationist' so it's good that she can laugh about it and even better that they allowed him to explain why he is NOT one. But ever the gentleman, Ron says to her "I'm sure you did not harm".
I love how he explained that the war advisors steer the Democrats as well!!!!!!
"Control of both parties..." Now...there is a point that must be hit home!
Wow Nora was a good sport. :-)

Great interview, Nora!
I appreciated that fact that you had such a lovely conversation with Dr. Paul. You allowed the nation to see him as the statesman that he is, quite unlike all of the politicians who are his opponents, and you did this without editorializing and innuendo.
Many thanks for a job well done.

Polls
I wish he'd tell the reporters that the polls are based on that 6.6% of the voter population who bothered to vote in the last primaries.
Ron Paul is attracting the young (never voted, don't have a land line), the independents, the disenchanted, newly naturalized citizens, like myself, Democrats, Libertarians and a host of others who are not in the pollsters' data base.
If Huckabee gets 7% of the vote and he raised $1 million, then Ron Paul's true numbers are more like five times Huckabee's rating. Bottom line: the pollsters use outdated data bases and this suits their purposes because they report to and are paid by the media, the same people who have the politicians on their payroll.
70% of the population wants the war to end. The military contribute more to Ron Paul than any other candidate. When Ron Paul comes to town, thousands of people turn up. He is the only candidate able to motivate Democrats to change parties. He is a rock star on campus. The other candidates can't match his numbers. These are the real numbers. The poll numbers are just as phony as the news media that broadcast them.

Less than that
Actually, if you look at most of those "scientific polls" that are being quoted, their source is based on a poll of around 400 people.
(Hey! I posted something that was less than 5 paragraphs! There's a first time for everything.)
Yes... challenge the validity of the polls
They don't square with reality, which brings in question the motives of those who use them.
Just say, if you believe those polls, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. Make them eat crow for being so gullible.
Here's a good tactic, say "OK, let's prove you wrong. I'm going to ask all my supporters to cancel their cable subscriptions tomorrow. If you believe the poll numbers, my call to cancel should cause you no alarm. However, if you discourage me, it means you have no faith in the polls. Well, then say so. You have 24 hours to petition me not to make this call to my supporters. And, by the way, when they cancel, I'll ask them to donate what they save on their cable bill to my campaign. It seems like a win-win situation for the campaign. It will teach you sorry lot to broadcast phony polls and deceive the voters."

Still no link?

Sent her this email
"I would just like to thank Norah and MSNBC for giving Dr. Paul a good and honest interview. Its nice to see the MSM finally giving airtime to the only candidate that takes the U.S. Constitution seriously. And unlike Fox New's treatment of Dr. Paul after the debate the other night, you treated him fairly."
Figured they'd like the dig at Fox :D

Hold off on the e-mails
She did ask on the show to not get spammed by Ron Paul e-mails.
Even thank yous are against what she asked.
Let's respect her request since she was so fair with Dr. Paul.

Nora's request regarding email was in jest...
Dr. Paul was right about her request that he intercede to ask supporters not to flood her email box. She will love reading all of the praise for an interview done without editorializing and innuendo.
So, I say, let her know that she "done good."
are you a supporter?
....dr. paul said she should read every one of the emails.
i'll listen to him before her or you.
emails
Maybe just one from a spokesperson? Manystrom?
What did she do?
what did she do?
she gave an excellent interview
...pointed out the costs of the war...gave Dr. Paul real opportunity to explain himself, joked with him...it was lovely to see!
