Gravel Petition
Submitted by grumpy on Wed, 10/24/2007 - 14:31
I believe in Free speech and Mike Gravel is giving the Democratic Party some. His chances to win are extremely low but he brings a voice of reason to the democrats. (they call him crazy, imagine that!)
I think it would be good to see him in the democratic debates and if you do too this petition is available.
War Machine General Electric owns NBC and doesn't like the anti-war talk, so they are banning him.

Bump.
Bump. I know it is two days away, but this is important.
Do you think GRavel would cross party lines and endorse Ron Paul
???
hmm..
I think they both have great mutual respect for one another. I have to say a RP/MG ticket would not suprise me in the least.

This is the MSM's first attempt ...
... at paring down the field. If this goes by without too much attention no doubt they will start doing the same thing to the Republicans. There were several articles/blog posts after the last debate suggesting that the MSM begin to exercise its prerogative to "focus" the voters' attention on the electable candidates by excluding the others. Gee, I wonder who they would try to exclude first.

This is good
.
This shows a generosity of spirit that is very touching. Mike Gravel is a good guy. It was he who leaked The Pentagon Papers to the New York Times, and that took guts. If I weren't a Ron Paul supporter, I bet Mike would make a pretty decent president.
Ummm
Except that he's a rather rabid socialist if
I'm not mistaken....Just because somebody's honest about their views does not make them supportable-at least not to me.
Bty, my problem with socialists only occurs when they try to force it on me-I don'tt want to be socialist.

I signed the petition and I'll send a couple of e-mails too. Come on, let's help the guy out.
hmmm
I'd rather have Ron Paul in a 1 on 1 debate with Giuliani and officially take the top spot. The audience should consist of 1/2 Ron Paul and 1/2 Giuliani supporters. The moderators should include someone pro Giuliani, someone pro Paul, and someone neutral.
I don't think people realize that Dr. Paul is top tier, and although it sounds like a reasonable request, he needs to go up, not down, in mainstream popularity.
I could be wrong.

What is this in reference to?
email
If you really feel strongly about this, then you should also flood the e-mail of execs at NBC that are behind this fiasco. You can send any upset mail to [ chuck.todd@nbcuni.com, viewerservices@msnbc.com, directors@corporate.ge.com, ombudsperson@corporate.ge.com, jeff.zucker@nbcuni.com, lynn.calpeter@nbcuni.com, steve.capus@nbcuni.com ]. You should also e-mail the DNC to let them know how you feel about this outrage: [ http://www.democrats.org/page/s/contact ].
snipped it from the actual article.
I added my name to the
I added my name to the petition. I know how I'd feel if I was a Gravel supporter.
Same here.
Same here.
I signed to. All voices
I signed to. All voices should be heard so voters can choose who they want not just who the media wants. The bad thing is it is not the smartest that win the top job but the one with the most cash.
