will unbinding delegates even matter? Remember how those delegates were chosen? We voted for them, so the delegates that were for a certain candidate had that candidate's name next to theirs, so the person who won the state also had delegates get voted for who were supporting that candidate, so why would they change their minds if you unbind them?

Will you leave this 75% crap alone? Does it really matter who said what to who when?

You and Dr Parent are on the same damn side. He is not the enemy. Let bygones be bygones, please.

Whatever he may have said or may not have said about percentages or been rude or whatever - the RNC rules are there in black and white and we can all check them for ourselves. For the record, I think you will agree that what he is saying NOW matches those rules perfectly. Yes? Fine - let's move on.

Ryan you may have good intentions but your logic and advice is going to hurt what is being accomplished.

This is the only time i am going to respond because you have made me have to give people the advice they need to accomplish the delegate process.

What i am disappointed about is that it took someone from the Democratic party to educate the GOP on how to win thier own nomination? Ryan as a leader all of you should of had this information readily available for everyone why did it take me that wasn't even from your party to educate your party on your own process?

Why have all your experts not made this information available? What are they waiting for? I have spent hours trying to rekindle this movement at my own expense and i want nothing in return except a President i can trust to lead the American people NOTHING MORE and i don't care what letter is next to thier name so long as they get the job done.

Why haven't your people already drafted the Resolution to unbind?

Do i need to draft that too? So you can just try to tear it down?

I have already helped many to write thier resolutions and many have passed around the country as well as others that have already had thier resolutions written with out my help and are ready to move to the question.

"Our State GOP Chairman will appoint a Resolutions Committee and review the Resolutions (whatever that means). I'm trying to find out the exact process." Why does it say in your bylaws? The answer should be right there. Do you need a committee or is that voted on at your convention? Is the committee behind closed doors? Do you need 2/3 of the delegates to move to a new resolution? You shouldn't be waiting for answers you should be finding them time is running out.

If you want to ask someone in the GOP for advice i strongly advise against taking thier advice as gospel and you should always research and confirm the information for yourself without exception. Don't even take my word as gospel go and research and confirm it yourself it is all there in BLACK AND WHITE for all to read.

Educate yourselves never rely on someone to take charge and lead be a leader yourself and you will be better able to take care of yourselves.

Just read the rules as they are written in your county, state and the official RNC call.

Learn about RULES OF ORDER these are a must know if you are going to attend a convention and if you do not understand the language and meaning of these conventions you will be at a disadvantage when you attend.

As far as you Executive Committee member you want out just check your bylaws and check to see if thier is a clause for dismissal clause for CAUSE. Most bylaws have this clause and can be enacted immediately.

Huck and Mitt's respective campaigns have released letters when asked noting that neither is willing to give up their delegates. In my state these letters had a bad resuklt for us: even though our state party rules clearly say that the delegates for candidates who "drop out" will be reapportioned to remaining candidates (which would have given Ron Paul an Alaskan majority over McCain, the last-place finisher in our presidential preference vote), the GOP chairman successfully used those statements from Huck and Mitt that they intended to be in the race all the way to the convention, and therefore they had not "dropped out" of the race. Sneaky, yes.

Just letting you know what you are up against.

I think I speak for the entire Daily Paul community when I say to both of you, "Let it go."

You both have the same goal - to get Dr. Paul as many delegates as possible at the national convention.

SGP has advocated unbinding delegates at the state level many times.

Stop questioning eachother. You both abviously know a good deal about the process. You should be working together to help overcome the great obstacles we have in our way.

I am all for a little healthy debate, but at the end of the day, don't make the Revolution suffer for it.

And, though not as qualified as either of you, I am a PCP in Oregon and have submitted my candidacy and filing fee to the Oregon GOP to serve as a national delegate.

Let's work together and prove to the world that the MSM doesn't determine who will be the President of the United States.

I'm no longer commenting on the controversy, as it has been a huge distraction. If anyone doubts I'm a Ron Paul supporter, ask someone in Colorado. I am the Adams County Ron Paul Organizer -- which I was instrumental along with a few others in winning 1/4th to 1/3rd of the CD and State Delegates. We are bigger than Denver County.

I am also a Denver Ron Paul Meetup Assistant Organizer. I worked in the Denver HQ's about 3-days per week. I am the only RP-Republican who is a member of the Adams County GOP Executive Committee. I am also a member of the Ron Paul Grassroots National Council.

In the last week, I called out a Denver GOP Executive Committee member who lied to the Denver GOP Central Committee. The Denver GOP Chairperson hates Ron Paul supporters and I believe instructed a member of her Executive Committee to lie about the location of a GOP meeting.

I am also a CD and State Delegate, running for National Delegate and working hard to build relationships with politicians who are running for both state and national offices. Furthermore, through the Ron Paul National Grassroots Council I am heading 4-states for Tax Day 08 and having a party/event in Denver to recruit people for Tax Day 08.

Hundreds of people know me and for Steve Parent to say that I am not a supporter is clearly untrue and out of line. I would like Steve to let us know what Meetup he is a member of, if he is a Republican and if he is a Delegate for Ron Paul.
