Ron Paul Supporters,

It has been a pleasure campaigning with you for a past several months. I have gotten to know many new people who I am sure I will consider long term friends. This past years' activities for Ron Paul have been energizing.

As many of you know, in the process of greater acquainting myself with the field of possible candidates for local office, I discovered that there was no liberty candidate running in the second district. In November I placed my name for consideration of the voters in the second district. In February I won the Republican primary.

I think our platform of liberty, peace and prosperity is morally correct and strong with passion. The Second Congressional District will respond strongly to this message if only we can communicate it with them! My incumbent opponent Democrat has made no friends with his base due to his support for continued presence in Iraq and votes for the re-authorization of the Patriot Act. I feel that the electorate is ready to get rid of the same old typical career politicians that have been representing them for so long.

Winning the race is the ultimate goal. However, simply showing strength in the election is key to being able to build the local Republican party in our image. Even though it is fairly evident that the Ron Paul campaign will not be a winning one, it has demonstrated the vibrant base of support the message has. We can continue this effort through elections of like minded candidates for other offices.

I have begun formation of my committee. I have designated Patrick Citroni Campaign Manger and John Orlando Treasurer. We however need a spark of campaign contributions to become a credible campaign in the eyes of many.
