Ron Paul Campaign Flyer

I made a Ron Paul flyer that can be printed and handed out inexpensively. I tried to fit as much on one page as I could and still get the message out. Feel free to download and disperse it.

Ron Paul Flyer

I thought it came out well and I'm going to hand it out at the local shopping malls.

i think you're right richard

yeah i think its a good idea to use the official flyer which is actually pretty good. maybe someone could also suggest to the site to make a flyer that has almost all the issues he stands for and would like to get accomplished, but put in a simple form like this....

1) WANTS TO END THE WAR IMMEDIATELY !
2) WANTS TO GET RID OF THE I.R.S.!
3) NO INCOME TAX AND NO FEDERAL RESERVE !
4) NO RFID CARDS !
5) SAVE THE INTERNET!
6) SECURE OUR BORDERS! (NOT EVERYONE ELSES!)
7) NO PATRIOT ACT! NO MILITARY COMMISSIONS ACT!
8) PROTECT THE 2ND AMENDMENT! KEEP YOUR GUNS!
AND SO ON......... YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN?

i say this because i feel alot (i mean alot) of americans have a very short attention span and dont like to read (sad but true).

If it could be laid out in your face boom! all the issues or most of them, people might look into the campaign further and say "hey! this guy makes alot of sense! hes got my vote!" just cut to the chase "heres my views and issues! boom! want to learn more heres a list of websites to go to, boom!

like little bombs jam packed with easy to absorb information that will instantly jumpstart your curiosity to look into it further until you become a ron paul addict like we are. In this day and age of instant gratification america needs a good slap in the face to wake up and i think this would be a good way to do it. all opinions welcome i wont be offended

I LOVE THE NEW FLYER

AWESOME!!!! They'e printed and I'm going to happily post them on the local billboards, and the VFW, Eagles, American Legion and other organizations buildings doors. THANK YOU for an excellent job!!! You've made The Granger one happy Ron Paul Camper!

Flyer

The enthusiam and support out there is fantastic.

Just a thought from the lawyer in me. If it is reasonable to believe that the flyer might be confused with an official flyer coming from the campaign, I believe it would be best to include a notice that the source of the flyer is independent and that the flyer has not been approved by the campaign.

Also, if there is any possibility for confusion, I believe it would be best to stick VERY closely to the official positions of Dr. Paul as expressed in materials found on the campaign's official web site. In our enthusiam, we probably wouldn't want to inadvertantly alter Dr. Paul's carefully framed official positions.

Just a thought.

P.S. I do not serve the campaign in any official capacity---just a huge fan!

Good idea...

Now that I (we) know the official flyer is available for download, I would strongly recommend that everyone use that version. As many time as I've been to the official site, I never came across it. You are quite right to suggest adding a disclaimer (which I will do). The last thing I want to to is be a detriment to the cause.

If nothing else, at least the discussion has us all thinking about it. If that leads to a number of folks distributing them...mission accomplished! Again, it's great to be able to share our insight and come to a proper consensus.

Thanks, Richard!

Tri Fold Brochures

Also, on the official web site www.ronpaul2008.com, click on ..get involved. Then click on tri fold brochure, 2 flyers are displayed.
Page one is a flyer listing numerous websites with a small amount of personal info. Page two, (my favorite) is a flyer that lists only the official web site, but has much more info about Dr. Paul.

I believe most people still do not know Ron Paul, and that one gives a broader overview as to what he is all about. Both fold nicely into 3 sections, but page two is the only one that I print and distribute. Once folded, they fit nicely on front car windows. So far, I have distributed over 100 and have printed up 50 more that I have folded and loaded in my car for future distribution. My plan is to distribute thousands this way!!

Thanks...

Strangely, I never thought to look there for official flyers. Thanks for the info.

2 SIDES

REMEMBER THERE ARE TWO SIDES TO A PIECE OF PAPER, I TOOK YOUR FLYER AND PUT IT ON ONE SIDE. THEN MADE A FLYER FOR THE OTHER SIDE AS AN AD WITH A BIGGER PICTURE OF RON PAUL AND ABOUT 12 OR 13 BULLETS OF INFO ON HIS ISSUES AND A PARAGRAPH OF HIS SUCCESS ON THE INTERNET AND THE INTERNET POLLS AND THE GREAT FEEDBACK HE GOT FROM THE DEBATES FROM THE INTERNET AND C-SPAN AND THE FACT THAT MOST OF THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA IS NOT GIVING HIM THE RECOGNITION HE DESERVES.TELLING PEOPLE TO VOTE ON THE ISSUES,AND NOT BY PARTY OR WHAT MAINSTREAM MEDIA SAYS. STUFF LIKE THAT I'LL PUT IT UP TOMMORROW FOR ANYONE TO COPY IF THEY WISH OR YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN ITS PRETTY EASY.

Great idea!

That's what I like about sharing information with people...there's always another way to look at things. I'd like to see your finished flyer. Can you post it somewhere or email to vman@cavtel.net ?

See what you all think about this flyer (or flyers)

Strategy Idea for Flyers

After reading through the "evangelical christian" politics magzines/internet blogs, etc: I came away with a few things:

1. Church goers are Active Voters
2. Church goers are predominately Republican
3. Church goers were instrumental for Bush in both elections
4. Church goers are (without knowing it) a stronghold of the neocons
5. Church goers do feel "slighted" by Bush after 8 years, however they feel there is no alternative (or that Bush was the lesser of 2 evils)
6. Church goers don't know who Ron Paul is, other than what they hear in the mainstream.

I see this as an incredible pool of voters to reach out for the REPUBLICAN NOMINATION.

I would like to propose a multi city/town Strategic Idea for the Meet-Up groups.

Put Flyers on cars in Church Parking lots on Sunday mornings.

Put together a basic flyer with some of the core issues of Ron Paul - but highlighting the ones that sit with Conservatives on the Right. (Maybe like 8-10 bullet points)

The flyer could also have a few quotes from Pat Buchanan, Lew Rockwell, etc that hit home to an average church goer. Then an address to www.ronpaul2008.com

Each Meet Up Group could get lists of ALL the various denominations of churchs in their area and split them up. Many churchs have multiple service times, so you could hit the same lot 2-3 times in one morning.

Church goers are the "core" of the Republican party, and for Ron Paul to win the nomination - he is going to need them - otherwise they will continue blindly down the path that the neocons have created.

This needs to be strategic and needs to be started ASAP - we need early support from traditional republicans. We keep looking for high impact ideas and ways to reach out to the non-internet people and this is very cost effective.

This is not only as incredible opportunity to pull in massive VOTING REPUBLICANS for Ron Paul - but a MUST for victory !!

Church Flyers - YES

Purepaloma & Co. your Ideas are GREAT. I have to respectfully disagree those who might first assume you should ask permission first. I have flyered church parking lots for 15 years. The impact of this alternative media is enormous. My flyers are a direct property ownership transfer from me to car owner, whose driver's door rubber/windshield I placed the flyer on, NOT the church's.

I can say without reservation that if I had asked some type of permission, that I would have been denied 13 out of 15 times, out of the unnatural conservatism of most church leaders not to rock the undefinable ‘offense’ boat. In other words ask forgiveness rather than permission.... and don't feel much need for forgiveness for exercising a one-on-one property transfer & the 1st Amendment, within a place that opens itself out the public generally. I am neat, respectful, yet determined to get the flyer/education job DONE each time.

Even then, 1 out of 15 times, I have been asked by cranky, unfriendly church elders to REMOVE the flyers, which I respectfully yet firmly declined, noting that the (flyer) property was mine, directly given to each of the car owners, not to the church (another reason to push the flyers through cracked windows on those 8% of cars seeking heat venting). I did leave the property line after being asked to leave though... mission 2/3’s accomplished 'cause they'll be talking about it furiously between themselves tommorow! I also always clean parking lots later if asked as a courtesy.

The average church member will never hear the moral Ron Paul message from or through their timid leaders - who are too afraid of losing their corrupted corporate 501 3c status. We must do as Purepaloma is suggesting and for the exact reasons he states – most rank and file churchgoers will leave Bush for Ron Paul, if they only knew about him through FLYERS.

Out West here, Churches, Gun Shows, Home School & Political Conventions are getting them in the tens of thousands I can assure you.

Paper a thousand church windshields each month! We have, including DVD’s! I can usually do 4 church parking lots on a Sunday morning. Many members will think differently about what they have been lied to about, and never be the same. :)

I love the big car-signage idea too - Outstanding! Thanks to you ALL here.

As in 1774, the message is unavoidable now – as it should be in America daily - till victory. Viva Ron Paul 2008.

RE: Church Go-ers!

I agree 100% with this - NOW. Tallk "Paulitics" when you can with your own church body. I had a guy come up to me last night, very excited, to tell me that he watched Freedom to Fascism after seeing my signs on my car. You see, I'm not supposed to "Paul-itic" in the house of the Lord, but my 12-passenger van in the parking is one big Ron Paul advertisement. I'll post more in the next day about how I'm making my signs and include a picture. Our cars are the very best places to put RP material as we all drive all over the place.

Cars in Church Parking Lots

Churchgoers are voters. Also, the more often people attend church, the more likely they are to vote Republican. Check this out.

Church attendance Conservative Moderate Liberal
Once a week 54% 33% 13%
Almost every week 47% 39% 14%
Once a month 38% 42% 19%
Seldom 31% 45% 24%
Never 26% 40% 34%

I'm using the "Conservative" version of the Ron Paul cards from libertycard.org for churchgoers. It mentions "pro-life" and other things that appeal to churchgoers. I insert them between the glass and the rubber gasket of the driver side door. If there is not room for the card to slide in there, then I insert the card into the door handle.

I appreciate that putting literature on someone's car is not the most polite thing to do. I think the cards are a little less invasive than a paper under the windshield wiper since with the card I did not actually touch the car. While we don't want to torque people off, at the same time we are up against the clock here and have to raise awareness of Dr. Paul quickly and at the grass roots. He won't be mentioned in the mainstream media unless the grass roots can force his poll numbers higher in "scientific" telephone polls among "likely Republican primary voters". Regular churchgoers are the most likely demographic we can easily reach that will be surveyed in those polls. They are more likely than you or me to have a land line phone and be at home and actually answer the telephone when a pollster calls and say "yes" when asked if they voted in previous Republican primaries. Churchgoers are very important for raising Dr. Paul in the "scientific" opinion polls. We must reach them fast. I suggest ordering a few thousand of the "Conservative" version of the Ron Paul cards from libertycard.org and putting them on vehicles in church parking lots at every opportunity. Hit them all and hit them often.

Church Parking Lots

Also, don't forget wednesday nights!

To all...

I have updated (recreated) the online version of the flyer. The type is still smaller than I'd like, but I changed fonts to make it look clearer.

Thanks to all the awesome folks here for the advice and constructive criticism! This is what separates the Pauliticians from the rest!

Much appreciated

I will make copies of your flyer and post them. That said, I would like to say that the print is pretty small and old timers (like me) may have a hard time reading it while those who are passing by may not have the time to read all of it. I really like the concept of the flyer, and if I was as talented as you, which I am not, I would take what you have created and remake the points into "bullets", so to speak. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Thanks

I know what you're saying. My goal was to fit as much on one page as possible. That required the smaller print. I've found the average attention span to be one page in length. It's almost like a resume...you have that one chance (page) to grab attention. Feel free to edit it and make it your own style. I thought the block paragraph format was a bit more personal.

Yup, we folk with 'old' eyes

Yup, we folk with 'old' eyes need larger type and good contrast.

I decreased the margins, increased all text to 12pt and increased each paragraph first line to 14pt and it all stayed on one page. Thanx for making available.

Working on an update...

Someone who has real talent on these matters gave me some pointers. I'm going to work on a update myself, but again, please feel free to use, edit, modify it in any way you see fit.

I just feel I need to do more to get the message out. That's my goal.
