Wacky? Embarrassing!
Have you bought the nonsense that Ron Paul is "wacky", or do you know someone that has? If said in the right way enough times (and it has) many people will buy it hook, line and sinker. It's called manipulation via propaganda. And it works well if you allow it. It's very unfortunate that so many "Republicans" have allowed themselves to be so manipulated to believe now that John McCain should be supported to be the standard bearer for the Republican Party and the Republican message.
What a far cry from what I knew a Republican to be. How shameful for so many to believe that "if the media says so, it must be true". There is so much that has never been reported by the "main stream media" about Ron Paul, his support and his message, but of course "if it didn't happen in the media, it didn't happen". Right?
Republicans should think very long and hard about rejecting Ron Paul and the multitudes that have flocked to be involved in the Republican Party process because of him and his solid Republican message. His record is a 10 term Republican congressman from Texas with the most proven conservative voting record of all. An honest Ronald Reagan Republican who was one of the earliest supporters of Ronald Reagan for president when many if not most Republicans did not!
If you want to talk about something embarrassing to the Republican Party just think about this. I spoke today with a Ron Paul supporter located in Campbell County Kentucky. He just attended the Campbell County Republican Party Convention that was held on Saturday March 15th.
Campbell County is in the Northern Kentucky area near Cincinnati, Ohio. There are 58,388 registered voters of which 25,268 are registered Republican. Campbell County is allotted 64 delegates to the district and Kentucky State Republican Party Conventions and 64 alternate delegates.
It is the home county of U.S. Senator Jim Bunning a Republican who attended the convention with his wife. A pathetic turnout of approximately 30 Republicans bothered to show up! Of those approximately 8-10 were known Ron Paul supporters. That's at most 22 people attending this convention (without the Ron Paul supporters) out of 25,268 registered Republicans and 2 of those were a sitting U.S. Senator and his wife!
This was typical of most of the 120 Kentucky Republican Party County Conventions and many of those counties could not even muster one Republican to attend their convention! Embarrassing is an understatement!
My home county of Spencer fared a bit better than Campbell County in that we mustered a mere 20 people to our convention out of 3,990 registered Republicans. But that's still considered a very good turnout by some pathetically low standards!
It clearly indicates there is something terribly wrong within the Republican Party and to nominate John McCain as the standard bearer will cinch the further deterioration of the party. Especially if the Ron Paul supporters, generally the most Republican thinking in my estimate, are rejected and ridiculed as "wacky". All because the American people have been so easily manipulated.
Watch this and tell me who's "wacky".

Something had better happen and somebody far more exciting and Republican had better be our nominee other than John McCain or the National Republican Party Convention in September will be B-O-R-I-N-G to the 10th power and no doubt passed off as a success by the media to the willing masses of "Republicans".
